Early this summer i got to visit my step-sister who is the nicest person i've ever known. We get along well since were a bit over 1 year apart. E.G. Shes 17 im 15 anyways shes popular and ive know her since we were 9 and 10. Moving along i visit her once a year and now she has a boyfriend for a year. When we went to the Fair to hang out and have fun she kept getting texted on her cell and her friends/Boyfriend was calling her. I felt completley out of her leauge. My question is will the cell phone calling get worse as my friends grow older because nothing ticks me off worst when Im with a friend and were having the time of our lives and their cell phone goes off and our conversation STOPs.

Im 17. Lately I realized i dont have any REAL friends, I have my family.. but family doesn't cut it anymore. I work alot.. I hate my job. Im always nice to people, and at work my co-workers treat me like crap plus my boss(which i guess thats their job).. i come home everynight alone. the worst feeling ever is to know im always alone. i try to make freinds but they end up screwing me over. im like a big nerd. i have hobbies such as bowling.. but .. thats the only thing i look forward to doing every week. i have no confidence. i have low-self esteem. people treat me like im a loser, or im really ugly. im beleiving everything these people say/do. my family doesnt really know how depressed i am. i just need advice. im tired of feeling empty and sad. i love my family .. but i think i need freinds my own age. please help me .. i cant live like this anymore.

My friend Kathy is a closet drug user (she had previously admitted it from me) she has recently been diagnosed with schizophrenia plus depression. I havent spoken to her in a few months and the other day she called me trying to borrow 40 bucks from me. (I know 40 isnt much but I work hard for my money and I'm not just gonna hand it out to someone who does drugs) She tried telling me some lame excuse that she needed the money for bus fare to find an apartment because she just got section 8. Kathy has been on the BUS FOREVER and that is her only mode of transportation, she knows better than anyone that because of her disability she can get a $15 monthly bus pass. How do I tell her I think she's lying and how do I end this 20 year friendship? I do not want to be friends with her anymore especially if she is going to lie to me. Am I wrong in feeling like this?

My best friend is 18 and has a 5 year old son, i know this guy he is sweet and will do anything for his son. He tells him storys at night to help him sleep, and tells him about what kinda person his mother was. My best friends parenta don't think that he is mentally stable enough to take care of his son. when there is nothing wrong with him, he loves his son to death and has a wonderful boyfriend who has helpped so much. Soical Services took his son away and sent him so Cali so he can never see his father again. i know that his son is scared and wants his father but they wont let him see him. Is there anyway that he could get his son back?

a long time friend of my mothers and myself was recently diagnosed with an agressive form of breast cancer. this woman is in stage 4 of it and has been given a little time left to live. this woman is so nice and caring. she's always willing to help you and when i got the news of her illness i was devastated and left speechless. i mean what do you say to someone who is dying? there is nothing i can say to change her situation so how do i console a person in her position?

Well one of my best friends got pretty annoying and so i kinda stopped hanging with her but I was still nice to her. Then someone heard me telling my best best friend that was starting not to like her. she said no one does. One of the snobby mean popular girs in my school overheard and told my friend. She was sad and stuff. she e-mailed me and asked me why dont people like me? she was still my friend so I had to be truthful to her. so I told her everything. she got mad and changed all my replys to the e-mail and sent it to all my friends and no one believed her of course. So she got even madder and started telling my friends that if they didnt hang out with her she would spread rumors aout them so against their will my friends did it. then i told my former best friend that i was tired of her crap and that i hated her and i didnt want to be her friend. she acted like she was happy and then at school everyday she sat in a corner and acted sad. Is it my fault that our friendship is over?

ok, so i have this friend [she was more of an acquantance untill recently.] that was having alot of trouble with her friends, and now they arent friends anymore. and these girls are WICKED!!! they call her and leave mean messages on her phone and called her other friend too! and one of the girls that was doing it wasnt even involved in the drama. she was only doing it because the girls that were actually mad at her [for a really stupid reason] were.
and all of them are stupid mean wannabe posers! seriously, they think they are cool and hot, but ive heard the 'cool' ppl talk about them and call them wannabes and posers.

well, n e way, its getting really bad. the 1 girl that had nothing to do with it is posting myspace stuff about how much she 'hates' her. and they made fun of my friend's friend for sticking up for her.

well, i think they no im friends with her now and im gonna b honest..im scared. these girls are like the mean girls, only not as popular lol. so n e advice..

ok, so ive known this girl for a while and we were sorta friends but not like hang out on weekends friends. well, she has been having a lot of trouble with her friends, and well, they arent friends anymore. [and these girls are wicked!! they are wannabe posers and think they are so hot but they arent!!] well, they have been harassing her and making mean phone calls to her and her other friends, including this girl that didnt even associate with her, she is only hating my friend because her friends hate her for some stupid reason!! and u know those stupid ms bullitens that say 'who would u like to kill?' well they put her name!

well, now we are better friends, and the other girls know it probably. so what should i do if i go back to school and they hate on me for it? they are like a mean 'click' and im i guess scared lol. any advice for how i can handle whatever they do in a way that i stick up for her but dont get myself involved in their drama?

we used to talk about who we like. I told him before that I made a first move on a guy n he said he likes to do the chasing instead of the girl chasing him.

But now we both have gotten over our crushes and aren't liking anyone atm.

He asked me to go to the gym infront of the whole group. I'm not sure wht he means by this... he might be wanting to piss of some girl in the group by asking me like this so that the other girl will come to realise he does'n't like her tht way? But when we are at the gym, he brings a friend with him.

He likes holding my gaze whenever we are in a social function, but sometimes he looks away when we bump into each other unexpectedly. e.g I'm getting out of the door and he's coming in.

The other day he asked me if I'd like him to join me in my present hunt for a friend's bday. When he arrives, he said "so no one else is coming?"

I am really getting tired of being called conceited...

I do pageants. I have won a lot of titles, but never have I bragged about it. I do print modeling, but never have I said "i am prettier than you" to any girl. I DO think I am attractive, but I dont show off. I think everyone is pretty in their own unique way. I buy designer clothes, BUT only with the money I save up from allowance. This means like 1 month of savings to buy like 4 or 5 shirts. All the money I get from pageants and modeling I put in a savings account, that I wont use until I am an adult. I am busy a lot. I go to a lot of modeling and acting auditions and I am entered in pageants a lot, so when someone who I havent seen in a while asks me "whats new?" I tell them all the new exciting things that are happening to me. Then people say im bragging! I am not! Also, I always sit with a smile on my face, and people call me "full of it". Why can't I be happy to be living and be healthy? I do a lot of volunteering in my

My fiancé and I have common friend. For a while, she lived a block away from us and we used to spend a lot of time together. Then my fiancé and I moved to the south end of town (a fifteen minute drive away). We would still spend time together every week or every other week. She was in a car accident back in January that did some nerve damage to her arm. I called her a several times after I heard about it from her; I had to leave voicemails because she didn’t answer her phone. I told her that if she needed anything to just call. We went out to dinner once; her bitterness after the car accident was so potent, it was difficult to sit at the table with her. She would talk about things in her life, and then ask how we were. When we started to tell her she’d say that she didn’t want to hear about anything stressful in her life, because she couldn’t deal with it. After that dinner, she hadn’t made any contact. I was really hurt that she would never call. Please wait for more of the story...
