well were 13 and we were hanging out at the mall and turned my back and she was gone. i found out 4 weeks later she was raped and the same guy tried to rape her again what should i do?

You need to tell someone about it. It is better if you have an adult accompany you when you report it at the police station. You cannot let anyone get away with something like this, they will only do it again. You have a responsibility to your friend, to yourself and other young girls to report this and make sure it does not happen again.
I know that many victims feel it is their fault, and thats probably what your friend is thinking but nothing could be further from the truth, there is no need to be scared or feel guilty, report it or tell an adult right away.

Rape can leave a person wounded for life. Victims need mental, physical, and spritual help, and family and friends. Talk with your parents about the problem. This may not have been reported to the police. There is something wrong.

Did she only tell you or what?... I think that the first step to feeling better is telling someone you trust the most. Maybe they can relate. If not well then you can just be there for her when she needs you the most... Which is probrably right now... Then when she is ready you should be there to help her when she approaches an authority figure... This guy NEEDS to be CAUGHT. So just give her moral support. Okay well good luck....;)

can she identify him? she can go to the police about it, but without proof, like his sperm on her underwear, or she doesn't know who he is, aside from taking down her story there probably isn't much they can do.
did both of these incidents take place at the same mall? the police might want to increase surveillance there.
you didn't say how long ago this happened, but I would encourage you to get her to talk to a counselor at a rape crisis centre. she needs to talk about it, and get it out, or it will destroy her life. I'm speaking from my own experience.

Well sadly this happens a lot I know 3 girl that were raped it's sad. But you need to tell someone b/c this *** will try and try again b/c he thinks he can get away with it. I am so sorry that this happened to your friend.

Definately be there for your friend if she needs someone to talk to...she needs friends.
Don't ask her questions about what it was like, just comfort her.
Don't go out with your friends in a group smaller than 4 at the mall, that's a dangerous place to be a lone in a small group. especailly teenage girls.

I was raped when I was 14 and it nearly destroyed me. You need to talk to an adult. She has nothing to be afraid of. Your friend is in a pretty dark place right now and she needs to talk to the right people who can help her put it behind her and move on with her life.

1 call police make him go to jail but dont let him knwo ti was u tell cops to keep ur name anonymus and be teher for your friend cuz rape isnt anything easy speacialy to a girl be;live me i know cuz my friend and soemone special to me got taht really abd experience so be there for her cheer her up tell her its not her fault and that shes not be be ashamed of it cuz sdhe didnt want it she not a dirty girl wither the atacker is teh dirty oen get her to get checked for stds cuz u never know i hope shes clkean and that she recopver tell her that i wish her the best and that asshole shoudl be in jail

OMG!!!! I am so sorry to hear that!! Did you try looking 4 her while you were there?? Its really her place to tell someone. But encourage her to. She needs justice 4 what happend! Let her know you are there 4 her.
