Okay..i met a guy in college and we became bestfriends fast. we went everywhere did everything together...always hung out all the time 24/7. Then we met a girl we both liked. We both would flirt with her..and one day in his room we were all on the bed, I laid on his back and she laid next to us and we took a nap. that night we all slept in the same bed 2gether. him in the middle. I laid on his chest and slept...I lost and they started dating. I was jealous. and I told him I didnt want to be friends and when we didnt talk he told me he thought about me everyday, can't see himself not being friends with me for life..and when we first became friends that he loved me more than his family, that I was the most imporatant person in his life..I dunno I am so confused! Someone let me know how to tell!

You can't tell, you have to ask!
But there is a good chance that he simply has more loyalty to friends than to random females and loves you like a brother.
My boys are loyal to their friends--a homie is a homie for life--is seconded only to the concept of--Bros before hos.
Whatever issues there might be between you should be put aside. It is rare to find a truly good friend.

i think he's not gay. maybe he said that to you because he treats you like his brother or something. and youre such a big jerk for ruining your friendship bcoz of a girl! maybe your just too slow to approach her that's why you lost. but the real deal is HE IS NOT GAY! trust me! i know a lot of gay! i've grown up with them.

well it sounds like maybe you are nicer than his family..you are his bestfriend thats why he cant see you guys not being friends..when he says he loves you he may mean he loves you as a bestfriend..i love my bestfriend and he's gay..im a girl though..but just straight out ask him..say do you love me as a friend or more..or say are you gay?

the both of you flirt with the girl...and only one of you could win...you felt jealous and does not want to befriend him anymore...he feels that the girl is not worth your friendship with him and said those words..basically he wanted to tell that the friendship between you and him worth more than the girl...
