Haha a lot of girls do that, when they look up to a celebrity its like they've gone insane and what everything with their face on it. I've done that before and I still do, tell your friend that shes your idol you look up to her, and that you don't see yourself nagging on things she likes. And if she was your friend she would understand how its bugging you and she'll stop.

You could try educating them as to the real meaning of stalker. That noun has been taken way out of proportion by young people. Anyone who stares too long as someone is called a stalker...pleez!!! A stalker is someone who has unhealthy thoughts of possession and maybe even wants to hurt the person they obsess about. An idol is someone you admire and it is good you have one. Don't know a thing about the person you mention but if she is wholesome and lives a life that doesn't need to be hidden away in a dark room then you are doing okay. Idols are not always people of good repute and can be a problem for young people. Hope your idol is someone to look up to. Your okay kiddo. Get a dictionary for your friends.

I had a very similar situation like this back in the days when the Backstreet Boys were the #1 boy-band group out I was inlove with Nick Carter...yea I admit it Nick Carter (what the hell was I on?) You tend to grow out of it, its just a faze as long as your not doing any harm to anyone then its all ok... Your friends need to understand that this is you and thats someone that you idolize...Just dont pay any attention to them when they call you a stalker...It'll pass

I personally don't like hudgens but no. I happen to be obsessed with Harry Potter and I am made fun of frequently, don't take it to mind ;)

that sounds normal enough. we all had idols when we were younger. i couldn't get enough of duran duran, i know i'm showing my age lol
as long as you don't start obsessing, trying to buy her used tissue off ebay and show up at her house on her bday- that sort of thing.
i would just ignore the comments. i bet they have shrines to their fave celebs too

You're OK and your friends are just having fun with you. Just remember, she really is just a person. You could be anything you want and should only use her as inspiration . . not a limitation.

It's not so much with your friends, but you might want to open your mind that you might be gay, and that is perfectly fine. Forget your friends, but they need to not worry about you like that. It's not weird

well...to be honest, you probablly should mellow a touch seeing as your screen name is even named after her. So your friends might be on to something.
