Ex Housemates concern I'm gossiping is interferring with my current friendships?

I have an xhousemate who left on really bad terms, she abused me and left my house in a total mess and took advantage of me, for reasons only known to herself.
We share mutual friends. Recently she's getting her boyfriend to ask other ppl in the group if I've been bitching about her. I don't believe I have anything to worry about as I haven't been bitching but I am concerned that now she's involving other people in this ridiculous childish behaviour. I have taken the approach of getting along with my life and I'm happy in most aspects of that. But she just keeps causing me trouble. I don't see her, talk to her, msg her but she still keeps managing to create issues when I don't have any contact with her at all, even though we do share mutual friends. I just want to get along with my life. I'm not sure what to do about this, should I stop hanging around my friends to prevent them getting involved? I'm 24 years old. I would have thought this is high school but here I am...plse help???

Yea and your still doing everything in your power but the right thing.... ether way TALK TO HER!!! Then with that failing (which it proubly will since you made the mistake of claiming someone as your friends who lol obviously isn't) you talk to your "mutal friends" if that fails well it looks like it took you 24 years to finaly figure out what a friend is, not them.... chances are thou she is quite an annoying personality and they most have confliction with her too, if not, well your the oddball, time to find some other friends that actually give a.....
