I have a friend that I made at work. I am a man and my friend is a woman. She no longer works for the company, but we used to talk to each other a lot outside of work like on the phone and online. We weren't going out with each other. We were just friends. She used to call me up at home just to say hi. A couple of months ago, she stopped calling me and only talked to me at work. Then left the company and we really don't talk to each other anymore and I haven't seen her for a while. I do miss her. Interestingly, she pretty much stopped calling me and messaging me online when she got herself a boyfriend. Hmmm? What do you make of that?

I had the same problem. There isn't a lot that you can do because she rather be with her man friend (sorry). The best way to solve this is find another friend or maybe a girlfriend.

It's unfortunate but women tend to do that, when they find themselfes a boyfriend they dump the ones they aren't that close to , and in your case she probably wanted some "male attention" even though there was nothing going on and now she has her BF to give her that attention hence your not that important to her anymore.
Sorry if that sounds like she was using you, but what other things can you come up with as to why she all of a sudden decided not to talk to you. know what I mean.
Either that or she didn't want the BF getting jealous and dumping her. Don't worry too much about it don't try and persue the friendship if she wanted it she would have stuck around and continued to be your friend even when she got herself a man, find yourself some better friends and not ones that will ignore you when they have somone else.

Its probably not anything personal shes probably just involved in her realtionship at this time. You know how new love can be. Also jealous boyfriends. So just hang back. Maybe if you shoot her an email and she responds then u know she was a lifelong friend if not she was just one that was there to fill a moment in your life until a new one comes along. Good luck

she just doesnt want t stir up things with her newly found boyfie.How would you feel if your girlfriend kept calling her very close male friend when you have just started dating.Give her time and am sure with time she'll come around after she has her foot on the ground in the relationship.If you cant wait my advice is for you to ask her why she has changed so much?Good luck !!

maybe she doesnt want conflicts between the new bf and yourself, because sometimes bf's get super jealous, and maybe she thought it wouldnt seem right... but i'm awfully sorry. maybe you could ask for the three of you to hang out so maybe she'd be comfortable around you again??? have you tried contacting her?

She is just into her boyfriend and maybe busy with her new job. Who knows but her, I would say ask once and if she doesnt respond, maybe she has just moved on.

god I hate it when that happens. Me and my freind were pretty close. And iv'e noticed that I'm the one keeping contact with her. But then again shes not really social and pretty boring so Im over it.
