Friends - May 2007

A girl at work has told me that she is seeing my ex. She wanted to get it off her chest. I don't mind but what I am upset about is that my housemate who I consider to be my best friend knew about it and did not tell me. I don't know whether tell her how I feel or just be more careful about who I am friends with. If I knew someone was seeing her ex I would tell her so she didn't find out unexpectedly. Now I know everyone at work knew what was happening except me. Also, the girl in question made it very clear my housemate knew which i think she has done just to be malicious. Now i feel as though I can't hang out in my circle of friends as I don't want to see her and him together. He is only part of the circle of friends through me in the first place. What should I do?

there is one project, and it should be done in group, then, my friend did a lot compare to me, but everytime i ask him, " is there is anything that i can help" he always said nothing. so there is nothing that i can do. but i have measured it and supplied the material. but i have not seen our project yet, although it is finished.

I have a surprise for my friend who likes Yahoo Answers. It's very likely that she'll find out about this question and then wonder what I've done!! I'm not telling (of course) but I will say she will be shocked when she finds out what the surprise is!

One of my guy friends was talking to be about how he went to a party with two of his exes and was talking about having a fling with one of them. Or both of them. Not a relationship, but a fling. Please keep in mind, we're only 13/14 years old. So I told him that that's just meaningless and he told me it wasn't. Then he said that a lot of people do it. Talking back to him, I told him that a lot of people do horrible things but that doesn't mean that we should do it. Then he talked about how his high school "friends" wouldn't say that something is okay if it isn't, to which I replied that just because they're older that doesn't make them right. Trying to end this, he said, okay, well I guess younger girls just don't understand this and I shouldn't worry because I'm not alone. When I'm only a few months younger. I told him that he's insensitive, and he really doesn't think things through. And he jsut said he shouldn't have brought it up

We're probably both at fault, but please give input

Me and my neighbors (a couple) arnt really your typical couple. They argue a bit, some friendly some less friendly. I tend to sum it up as love/hate as she likes a bad boy. I am good friends with both of them, but here comes the muddy bit

We went out the other night, got drunk and some events happened and all of a sudden i was sitting down and he started going off at the missus. Not hitting or anything but loud in her face with a little grabbing. This totally scared me because i am friends with them both, and didnt want to take action on either side. It got a bit rough so he asked me to leave. I felt as if i had no alternitive (I could beat him in a fight but thats irrelevent).

The weirder thing is a few days later it was as if nothing ever happened, they didnt talk about it or anything. Also seems like they have done it a few times. It killed me inside though

I figured it was a low part of the road, as relationships have ups and downs. Do you think this was right?

It's not a romance thing...It's not "I'm fired" type thing. We have a job in less than 24 hours and I haven't been able to contact him in a week. So, the real ? is how, beyond searching local news, (did that, daily) can I find out anything? Er, we live hours apart, it's not like I can drive over anytime, but I'm ready to! Ok, my friends can get pretty out of control ( I meant that in a bad way.) They make fun of me because I'm really really really really really slow when I run. When we play running games they whisper to each other of how easy it is to get me and how many times they got me. That's not all though. I have this little stuffed animal (hey, no making fun of me!) and my friend makes it say mean things about me. Please don't say I need new friends because, these are the only ones I've got!

ok i was friends wit dis girl for 2yrs. but she begin to stabb me in the back.
i moved on & stop talking to her for about...a year & 2 months.
until one day out da blue she calls me & at first i yelled at her & said never to call me.
we moved & got our number changed but the machine tells callers the new number & again out da blue she calls me.
i was just about to go off when i caught myself.
she seemed so different & nice it seem she was sorry & wanted to start over was the reason she kept calling so i took her back in my life.
i wanna make nice but is she really no good?

i've got a best friend,B i met her through A on my first day in high skool...at first we were best frens but later cuz we found that we didn't like A so we kinda dropped her... B and i have been together for about a year now..... used to be ok with her....but now i seem to not be able to stand her...i mean we have not much about to talk to....when we hang out we usually have alot of silent moments...and i can't stand the part whenever she tells me about her family like her mom scolding her,her sis iritating her...honestly i find it totally boring...but as a best fren i guess i should provide a listening ear for her rite?anyway, just becuz we are cosidered best frens so act like how best frens are supposed to act like telling each other secrects ....she hasn't done anything to hurt me but i don't enjoy really much bein wit her...whats wrong?isit just me or her?what should i do?personally i think i'm keepin wit her becuz everyone has got cliques and i don't wanna be left alone.

lve been buying a bit of makeup , and a few clothes-only 1 or 2 a day,l had to get top makes.or my friends would laugh,so they are a bit dear,but lve kitted my house out with big screen tv,an every thing like that-cos l needed it,lve only been on holiday to USA once this year, erm ,no 2 but the other was only to france in a top hotel, now all the credit cards are used up,and the bank wont give me more-lve asked why not and they said l need to get a job- l could never do that,or l woulnt have time for shopping- can anyone tell me how to get more cards please? lm desperate, thanks.Or if you could lend me some? till l find a boyfriend with cash,that would help?

I'm a 14 year old, and I'm leaving my old school at the end of this year. A girl that I'm very good friends has suddenly MADE me a good bye present. She didn't buy it, she made it. I asked her what she wanted in return, but she said she didn't want anything.

My close friend is having problems at home and is considering running away. I'm sure her problems aren't as bad as she says, but I have no way of knowing. I only have until May 30 to convince her to stay, but I'm not sure how or if I should. She meets these men from the internet and at first she told me she was doing it because she needed to pay some bills, and that was understandable because she was really in debt. but i always told her "this is fast easy money so dont make this a career". well now she is doing it all the time. I try to tell her to stop but she always say "there's money out there to be made".
everytime i think about what she's doin i want to cry. we've been bestfriends for almost 10 years and it hurts me that she's doing this to herself. i worry about her everytime she tells me shes about to make some money.
i love her to death and i always want us to be friends but i dont know if i can continue to watch this go on.
I cant see myself being friends with a prostitute. but then I cant see myself NOT being friends with her.
she's been there for me alot growing up and i've always been there for her too.
i just dont know what to do
any suggestions? please anyone?
