What are some of the things that I could lagally take him?

That not true at all. U can take u friends clothes, towels/wash cloths, & money orders. Anything but FOOD. But u MUST check with the prison first, only bcause certain prisons have certain guildlines. Like the towels & washcloths must be a certain lenght, or u can only bring him ankle socks in a 3 packs. So before u do anything or bring anything. U might want to call up to the prison and get that type of information.

There's nothing you can take with you to the jail but you can get the address to the facility to mail it to him. They will go through his mail before he will receive it. If it's not aproved then they will mail it back. Since all facilities are different in each state or county I'll suggest that you call before you mail anything to your friend.

yourself... maybe some spare change to buy him drinks/snacks. But that's about it... You can send him a Money Order to buy things but you can't take anything.

Nothing...You can put money into his account. You cant hand him a steak-n-cheese sandwich with fries and drink

You cant take anything in there,but urself. They may let you drop off t-shirts,books, or stuff like that.
