I'm a 14 year old, and I'm leaving my old school at the end of this year. A girl that I'm very good friends has suddenly MADE me a good bye present. She didn't buy it, she made it. I asked her what she wanted in return, but she said she didn't want anything.

Should I listen to her, and not get her anything, or do I go buy her somthing in return?

She is like my best friend, but I don't want to upset her by buying her somthing when she said she didn't want anything. What should I do?

Give her something that she can treasure for the rest of her life. Try getting a dried flower ( a rose to be specific ) have it press between pages of your heavest book and let it stay there for couple of days (7 days would be better) until it gets really dry, then make it as a book mark, try getting a clear plastic and sew the end/surroundings of it. So then the dried flower will be a keepsake to her. She can use it as a book mark.

FYI: When a girl says don't get her anything, get her something. It's that reverse psychology way of thinking, duh!! Haha, if you DO get her something (which you most certainly will!), I suggest it be something relating to what she likes to do. For example, if she likes going to the movies, get her those movie ticket things. If she likes art, by her paint and some new canvases or tickets to the next art show. Or you could make her something. Write her a poem, or just a letter, telling her how much you're going to miss her. Include inside jokes, and make it as personal as you can. She'd really like that, most girls do. Oh, and you could always do both!! =P Good luck with this!

Cmon, a girl that gets upset from a guy buying her stuff, In my reserch of females i have found they like that, even if they mislead you with their words. Get her something if you happen to be good at making something make something for her.

If she argues with you, you can tell her its something to remember me by, its not like your buying her a house or anything!
