Basically.. I was friends with this girl for years... since I was about 18/19 years old.. (I'm now 23) and we weren't really really close or anything.. we both had our own lives and friends etc.. But because we share some of the same interests.. we'd meet up now and then and do things.. we've been to two music festivals last year and all sorts.. didn't hear from her for a few weeks.. but sometimes that happens so didn't think anything of it.. until another one of my friends told me they had ran into her on a night out and she'd said that we had fallen out with eachother and that I was a b!tch and she wasn't going to speak to me and I couldn't understand where it came from.. I text her asking what was going on and what her problem was and that if she had fallen out with me fine.. but didn't want to hear it from other people.. She had also been to my best friend the other week and tried to cause friction between us both to make us fall out.. but thankfully.. she didn't succeed... I mean.. I'd understand if I'd done something to her and she was trying to get revenge... but there's nothing....

Deep down I just want to get on with it and ignore her as it just seems like childish hoohah

What would you do?

"It's the thoughts that counts"
So after reading that quoted sentence, what is the best thing to give to make that birthday a memorable one?

I've had alot of friends, both guy friends and a few girls, but the problem is I'd start to like them (as friends) until they would bother me with dating issues or cry about breaking up with someone. I hate to say it but break ups are NOTHING compared to funerals.
Nothing hurts worse than losing a loved one to death and having to say goodbye for good. I would get so mad at my friends because they would act like its the end of the world if their boyfriend/girlfriend dumped them. Well if that happened guess it wasnt meant to be eh? I just feel like I cant have any friends without them crushing on someone and bothering me with it, or crying to me about relationship problems. heh until they lose someone they loved and cared about to death, they shouldnt cry at all. Funerals are the most depressing things to deal with
compared to them, a breakup is just a blemish.

That we have guardian angels on this site that help us out when we are upset? People who write to us and encourage us and without their kind words our lives would be a whole lot sadder. We are vey lucky that we have such nice people on here.

After I left college my very best friend in the whole world became really good friends with this guy I was involved with my senior year, whom of course she met through me. This thing we had ended very badly, and I still regard him as the one person in this world that has cut me deeper than anyone. She and I are still extremely close, but I guess now he's one of her "best friends" also and it hurts like crazy. I mean girls are supposed to stick together right? What should I do, should I tell her that it bothers me...or am I just acting like a girl and need to get over it. I wouldn't want to make her choose between her friends, but knowing that he is such a big part of her life is a constant reminder of all the pain he caused me. HELP!!!

I have a best friend. I cared and loved for her a lot.
We went through so many obstacles together.
We had misunderstandings but we managed to work it out.
Recently, she became so angry with me and refused to tell me the reasons why. Instead, she went off with another girl.
What should I do? I don't want to lose her.
Can anyone tell me the solution to this? Please make it a peaceful and effective one. Thanks.

For most of her life, my 11-year-old daughter has been best friends with "Tammy," age 9. Tammy is the daughter of good friends.
In recent weeks, every time my daughter has called her, Tammy has some reason to hang up the phone, so the conversations are very short. When my daughter tries to get together with Tammy, there is always some excuse why she can't come over. When we ran into Tammy at a football game, she totally avoided us and walked around the stadium with her nose in the air.

My daughter is so upset that she cries her heart out for hours at a time. My wife and I have loved Tammy like our own, and I don't understand why she is being so callous. What can we do?

Im a senior in high school and honestly MOST teenagers my age are to imature so i chose not to befriend any of them. As a child and even now i had to be the adult in the house. So you could imagine im a pretty mature teen. My problem is i can only seem to make friends with my teachers! I get picked on for it, but it only makes me feel stronger about them being imature! What do you think about my situation? Im not a teachers pet, infact im far from it. Did anyone else have a problem similar to this one? If so did you feel akward being friends with older teachers than the other students?

I am a cool laid back guy, im hansome and got my stuff togeather. But my coworkers constantly make jokes about me. I know its not true what they say but at the same time i dont like it because it's disrespectfull. Plus they say things that they know they couldnt get away with if we wernt at work. I could deal with them so easily with a hard fist to the lip. It has got so bad that my manager brought me into the office and told me to get allong with the others. Im not going to tell on anyone.

She told me that when she looks in the mirror she likes what she sees but it seems like no one else seems to see what she sees because they are always calling her names. They say people who talk about you are sometimes jealous but can it seriously be that many jealous girls out there. I say girls because guys usually like her for who she is. Any words of encouragement that I can give her.

I have the hardest time trusting and opening up to people. Especially lately, the past couple of years or so, I don't know how to beat this. First, the guy I fell in love with (first love) turned out to only go out with me out of a bet. He was my first boyfriend...that was the end of my love life....

The first bestfriend, the first person other than my family I ever trusted, back stabbed me, told everyone I am copying people. The second one stopped being friends with me because I supposedly went out with the guy she liked behind her back..NEVER DID..but she wouldn't let me explain myself and that was that.. The third one just stopped talking to me out of the blue because I couldn't make it to her birthday party (I was very very sick). The last one turned out to be liar and a sneaky person where I had shared everything about myself she had kept secret about herself. That and other things she did made me think about our friendship and I broke it off. I am so depressed. Please help!
