Friends - January 2007

My friend likes to pout if i don't do something for her or something..like she'll be like "hmm" and poke her lips out, then she just laughs afterward. When a few of us stand around and talk, she looks at me most of the time, and when she talks she looks at me. But sometimes I'm the one that has to start talking to her. Today after school, I rode by the school and parked about 50 yards from where she was talking to her friend, and you could barely be able to see me from there, and she started yelling my name. One day, she was walking in front of me, and she turned around and smiled at me, then started walking again. One day, I was laying my head down on her side of the table just to make her mad, cause its kinda funny, and she just lay her head down on my back and laughed. Why does she act like this?

my boyfriend and i have been together almost a year now and theiris on of my friends that like him but he told he would never go out with her. but still if your friend knew how much you loved them and how much your friendship ment them would she go behind your back and ask him out while yall are going out??? and she also gave him a note that said for him to text her . he cant even text me right now and she knows that...!!! SHOULD I STILL BE HER FRIEND OR NOT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS!!!!!

I recently started being friend with a girl i met through my bestfriend's sister. She seemed really nice, and funny, and trustworthy. I have learned though, that she is not as honest as I thought she was.

She tells a lot of lies, and when my best friend and I catch her in them, we confront her about it. She says sorry, that she'll never do it again.

I have told her that I do not drink. I do not want her to try and involve me in her drinking.

Then over this past weekend she kept trying to tell me that it wasnt that big of a deal if she drank. I told her I wanted her to stop because I was concerned about her. I asked her why she never asked my best friend ( her friend too) to drink with her? She said:
"Because you're easily minipulated"

Her dad has a drinking problem, and her mom just does care.

I dont get anything out of the realtionship. She lies to me all the time, and I feel like a bad person if i end the relationship b/c i feel like she needs someone in her life

I don't have any friends. Most of the people that were my friends in the past, didn't really know me and wouldn't meet me half way. I always seem to be the one that goes the extra mile. I really need a friend in my life. My husband really gets tired of me relying on him all the time. My husband and I have a great relationship, and my kids are great, but I would really like to have a girlfriend that I can share and do things with. Someone that will tell me that I'm normal, my life is normal, and that I'm not crazy. Does anyone have any advice on how to find and keep a friend? I do have trust issues, because of people hurting me in the past, but I'm willing to work on that. It seems like most of the people I meet are too busy telling me how great they are, how great their lives are, how much better or talented their kids are. So much competition. How do I weed through all the crap and find the real person and real friend?? Thanks for any help!

i mean u would be be best friends with somebody for like 4 years than they find a different friend and its like u dont even existed all of a sudden ur the 'backup friend'. or u think ur somebodys friend than u hear them say ur an ugly beyoch behind ur back. or theres a guy 2 or more girls r crushing on and its like every woman for herself. and they will do anything to ( including totally trashing her friend just to get wat she wants.Why????????????

We haven't seen each other since she moved schools and is living about 20 mins drive away; I call her like once a month, but it's always me who calls and never her - but still she sounds so happy when I phone and I love talking to her and miss her so I continue to do so. Well the other night while off duty we were drinking some beers and it got physical. Is it okay to let it just go and never say a word to him about it. I feel guilty cause he is married. We work alot together and nothings ever happened before. We flirt, but like i said we are good friends and i would hate to loose that. I know his wife but not very well. I know we are co-workers and at work we are professional and never let on that anything happened. I know that this is what it always be. What should i do? How can i talk to him without sounding like i am dumping his friendship. Because that is the last thing i want to do. No one else at work knows about the situation.
