He likes you but his friends/family don't? (And by the way, that may only be because his friends like girls like Lucy Lawless or something and have zero to do with you. I.e., they might just have sh**** taste in girls if they don't like you -- or prefer men.)
Eh. Either way, there are better ways for him to tell you that -- you do not want to be with a man who treats you with meanness. It's never okay for a guy to be such a jerk to a girl.
You deserve better.

Boys usually not as mentally mature as girls. It seems a few years gap between the genders.
When a girl took the courage to encourage the boys, they may not prepare for what's coming to them. Easiest escape is to act like a delinquent.
Now you know why, next time, simply giggle away and do something else.

If he doesn't like you, he won't want to tell you this and will instead try to act in a way which will make you dislike him. This way, he doesn't have to step up and tell you he doesn't really like you, and he can also feel that you were the one that actually stopped liking him (even though he consciously and purposely acted mean towards you to achieve this exact result).
It's... psychology.

Sounds like he dosnt like you. He dosnt want to come out and say it because he is not man enough so he starts being mean to you. Having the no answer could mean he likes you back but thats only if he continues being nice to you.

Because, he is probably young, and now that he knows you admire him aka like him, he feels in control and is probably being mean to enjoy that feeling of control...
He probably is to young to know how to react to someone "liking" him. Those feelings dont come till a lil later in life if hes 12 or under...
Sometimes guys are just mean :(, they like to make a girl cry so they can come back and say they are sorry and cuddle...
No way to really answes this...

well, its because he doesn't feel the same way and doesn't want you to think that he likes you. he feels that if he is mean to you, you'll know that he doesn't like you. he doesn't want to hurt your feelings so he rather act mean. that's not the right way to handle it especially since it takes a lot of guts to tell someone that. if your not interested just say i like you as a friend. just be mean back to show you don't like him and move on with your life.

Cause they probably don't like you back and liked it better as freinds. But now he cant be just friends with you anymore because "HE KNOWS" Guys are just dumb like that. He probably doesnt know how to react yet. Get a new guy. Some one older.

they want to see how far they can go (being mean) and you still like them. Or you just picked a jerk to like, because all guys act the same! its so hard to sound sarcastic on the message here.

thats never happened 2 me, prob because i tell a kid and then they tell that boy. then the boy always mess with my hair, calls me names, still my books,ect... u knw flirt with me, im in 7th grade thats how boys flirt at my age and if ur close 2 my age,he prob likes u.
