We haven't seen each other since she moved schools and is living about 20 mins drive away; I call her like once a month, but it's always me who calls and never her - but still she sounds so happy when I phone and I love talking to her and miss her so I continue to do so. It's just that I feel kind of wierd that i am the one calling her every time. Should I keep up the contact or do I seem like I can't let go?

Keep calling! Good friends are hard to find,we all get so busy in our lives some people have more time on thier hands then others. Everytime you talk to her let her know to call you whever she gets a chance.

i would keep calin her but let her kno that it would be nice if she could try nd call u every now nd then too bc ur startin to feel like she doesnt want to call u..just let her know how u feel ur friends rite nd friends should be able to talk bout anything..but trust me this is not that big of a problem some friends can have worse things happen be happy its that she jus doesnt call u be happy she sounds happy to talk to u .. u need to keeep some good friends in ur life for as long as possible

Keep it up. Maybe she's got so much stuff to work on that she can't call you. Sometime she'll have lots of free time and be able to call you.

yes, you should. i never call my best friend - she always calls me because i like never use the phone. i LIKE her being the one to call every time, and she does too because she talks alot. get together, or no matter her situation with the telephone, you'll grow apart. go for it!

You will seam very desperate to her if you keep calling her, wait a while and see if she calls, if she doesn't she is not a real friend, move on with your life.

I don't see why you have to stop calling her even if she doesn't. Maybe she just has a busy life or she doesn't spend time on the phone. I dunno. Why don't you ask her? n
