i'm having my 14th birthday party this friday. everyone is coming to my house getting thier hiar done and we are goin to a semi-formal dance. afterwards we're coming back to my house. i don't know what to do once we get back. my mom will be watching us like a hawk so i need some fun COOL games that my mom will be ok with...then after she goes to bed we can play all the other games. (it's just gurls...so no like spin the bottle)

their is this boy that came round my house hes 15 with his parents and his sister i know him very well and i fancy him and when he came in we didnt say anything to each other and he was sitting opposite me, but he looked really nervous because we couldnt look at each other and everytime i caught him looking at me he looked at me for a bit and then he quickly looked away and he was day dreaming a lot but i started to blush if i looked at him and he looked really embarrassed but we did talk a bit, anyway when they were leaving he said thankyou like really nicely then he smiled at me and held it but he did look really embarrassed,i mean when i say hi to him he always smiles and nodds his head but we dont talk to each other that much, i think he knows that i fancy him but he doesnt show any signs if he fancies me or not, but im scared to ask him, but i get the impression that he fancies me but all my friends says hes ugly and hes not worth it, does he fancy me or not or is he shy?

I have known a guy for about 4 years and then one year he just stopped talking to me & quit calling... quite recently I have been having dreams about him but the thing is I haven't been thinking about him...I have had 2 dreams about him and they seem so real..Usually my dreams are really weird and freaky but these aren't...He has a girlfriend and eveything and his own place & I haven't talked to him in a very long time...But we got close when we were friends...How can this be explained? I'm 18 M MUMBAI, Marathi.

I'm currentaly doing a degree-course in Management from one of the renowed college in mumbai.
Today, my most favorite teacher ( 26 F) told me that You have got attitude, I was so much surprised! Beacuse in my whole life absolutely no-one had opinion of this kind for me. Even people tell me to be little aggressive not so submisive. (However I also admit that I have been little blunt with her in past, but those things were finished-off there and there only.)

But still I wish to know the key-methods by which I can understand if really I have got atttude or not?
Being a single child of my parents, I know the value of good-realtions with the people with whom you have got direct or even indirect connection. Hence I have always respected my teacher; probabaly that is the point which hurted me a lot, when she made such statement regarding me.

Please answer my question in whatever the way you like!

I've known this Friend for a few Years. And we had a Social Date. As we were leaving, I ended up reaching toward her back, to escort her out of the Restaurant. She reacted, very nervously. I have some major concerns with mine and my best friend's friendship. First of all, I am always the one who invites her places (hanging out, joining a gym, going to my family's house, vacations, etc) and she NEVER invites me to go do things she only receives never gives and I am ALWAYS inviting her
I feel like she is not herself around me by little things such as I know she loves country music but when I am around pretends like she doesn't and will listen to music I like. She has also been notorious for following me in my footsteps in things like where I goto college, what job I have, my pets, my car, my clothes, etc. I am not flattered by it because I beleive people are unique and beautiful in their own way you do not need to copy someone, be yourself!
I live with her and a lot of times she just comes home and hides away in her room all day and never makes an effort to go run errands, clean, grocery shop with me. She doesn't stand up to me either I think she has self-esteem issues!

i am very emotionally dependent on my friend... i have hidden this well from her for about a year but now am finding it hard to hide....i realize how unhealthy this can be for both of us and i dont want to jeopardize our friendship but part of me wants her to know how i feel about her ..should i continue to hide the feelings and work through them in therapy or should i tell her how i feel and tell her i am working through them in therapy... i dont want to freak her or scare her to the point she abandons our friendship but sometimes i find myself getting so angry with her for no reason ...my gut tells me to keep it hidden ..continue the facade and work through my feelings with my therapist ...any ideas or suggestions

ok here i go . I have meet this woman about a year ago and about 5 months ago we started talking and things where going good I thought. about 3 months ago we got together and spent some time together. After that night I had text her letting her know I really enjoyed my self. never herd back and we did chat on line a few times. but when we are around each other we don't really say much to each other. the one time I was talking to her from the computer she said she was going to be bussy for a few weeks and I just left it at that. now when we are together I don't know what to say. so my question is when you think your starting a good friend ship why dose it go down hill so fast. is it something I did or was it her?

When the Falklands war was on I replied to a newspaper ad asking for pen pals. I wrote to a young Marine, he was 17 on the day the Canberra returned. I had to tell him in one of my last letters I was actually still at school. I never found out if he made it back his name was Patrick Naylor (Paddy) I dont have his letters to hand but I have kept them. I often wonder if he made it home, any one got any suggestions how I would find out?
