Dear ALL,
I'm 18 M MUMBAI, Marathi.

I'm currentaly doing a degree-course in Management from one of the renowed college in mumbai.
Today, my most favorite teacher ( 26 F) told me that You have got attitude, I was so much surprised! Beacuse in my whole life absolutely no-one had opinion of this kind for me. Even people tell me to be little aggressive not so submisive. (However I also admit that I have been little blunt with her in past, but those things were finished-off there and there only.)

But still I wish to know the key-methods by which I can understand if really I have got atttude or not?
Being a single child of my parents, I know the value of good-realtions with the people with whom you have got direct or even indirect connection. Hence I have always respected my teacher; probabaly that is the point which hurted me a lot, when she made such statement regarding me.

Please answer my question in whatever the way you like!

My email Id is rishikesh.chindarkar@yahoo.

it appears out of the information given by you that you are a self respecting studious and intelligent person. people like you, some times, do not hesitate in pointing out mistakes of others... just to show them right path, rather than hurting them. such people usually do not make friends and rejoice in their solitude.

you might be making enemies unknowingly for no faults of yours... people might think that you are ignoring them... this behaviour in social circles is also regarded as attitude...

teachers are also humans and make mistakes... students should take care not to let the teacher know about anything she missed out or committed a mistake... your body language, expressions on your face... and tone of your speech should be adequately pleasant while attending your class and interacting with your teacher...

good lock

There is no problem in having Attitude. I have too. My friends tell me that but not in -ve way but in+ve way i.e I got attitude which appear stylish to them n they like it n they take in healthy way.
Maybe your teacher also said in +ve way. Maybe she want to adore U by saying it that U got an attitude i.e got good personality.
but if she said it in -ve way then try to judge yourself in mirror of your heart.
1) See whether U try to impose ur views, ideas n feelings on others.
2) When any friend take a little taffri of urs U burn into fire.
3) U try to appear very intelligent n stylish (more than required) when other person adore U.
4) U talk very harshly to any1 when U disagree by her/his views or comments n walk away like U don't know that person
I hope that will help.

lol, i'm an only child too and i had the same problem somewhat. i just let it slide. in my case it i found out it wasn't so much attitude, but the way i chose to put words together at the wrong time and people were mistaking it for attitude.

just sit down with her and talk it out, don't be defensive, just listen and absorb it and later when you're thinking about it you might have an epiphany.

WE ALL HAVE ATTITUDE... some good, some bad! probably, what she means is a bad attitude, or one she probably doesn't like! most of the time, when people see what they don't like, they condemn it! it may not be bad, in itself, bu she definitely didn't like it! and i guess its in your manner of conversation with here. if you think you spoke bluntly to her and it ended "there and there", you never can tell if she carried it on in her mind and this can make almost "anything" you do turn out to be negative... even if its possitive. different people interpret different things differently. find out from her what you did wrong... maybe she's just upset!

this is my opinion!

if you aint got an attitude, and want to learn - go approach her humbly and ask her direct why she felt so..

how on earth do you expect unknown people like us who dont care a damn about you and your feelings advice you on this ??
