Friends - January 2007

My friend is a constant liar, and a attention hog but i learned to live with it, that is until she told me that she went to her cousins house got violated by her cousins friend and then raped by that same guy that night. I would usually believe her but like i said, shes an attenion hog--I mean i feel bad for her and all but i'm not sure if its another lie to get attention or not. she wasn't acting different at all and she wasn't sad or different at all. How can i tell if shes telling the truth? I want to believe her but she just sounds like the girl who cried lies. What should I do??

Can you please help me!! See I have this friend and we just barely got into this stupid fight... and I'm kind of glad. Well see from the start she was cool and fun, but now we never talk and then today we did, and now we got into a fight. Well this week will suck for me because she will pretty much bug me, or threaten me, and so on. I need advice to stop hanging out with her, or how to avoid her by saying something nice though. My friend in my class asked me out. I said yes because we have alot in common and he is really nice. Well that class i have with him is ending soon. And i am afraid he will brake up with me. One girl in my school was hanging out with a popular crew. And, unfortunately, I was near the bottom of the food chain for "popular" So anyway, that girl that was hanging out with the popular crew, had been "Deleted" from their group. So then she came to us because she had no one to go to. And now I feel her breathing down my neck all the time. I didn't like her in the beginning, and neither did my other friends. People are telling me that she gossiped about me behind my back when she was with the popular crew. I don't know how to say, "I don't want to be your friend" to her. This girl in my school who thinks she is my friend acts like a big baby all time. She can't do anything for herself and she acts for help when she doesn't even try. She cries when things don't go her way and it's like a thin glass vase you have to be extremely careful. It gets so annoying and no one likes how all the adults go along with it and baby her. She is 13 and she thinks she is my friend but I can't tell her she's not cause she will cry instantly. It gets on my last nerves, what can I do? No one likes her.

How do I tell my friend that she isn't a very good friend? I mean she's alwayz relying on me to get her homework done. And if I don't do it, she gets all pissed off. I got tired of it and just ignored her today. And I soon found out that she doesn't like another friend because she hangs out w/ me. She says all this crap about me that isn't even nice. And today I went with my friend to go get a drink out of the vending machine. And this was at lunch. But after I came back, nothing seemed wrong.But when I went to go talk to one of my other friends and came back for my stuff, my friend's boyfriend told me something very disturbing. He said that next time I shouldn't leave my drink on the table because my "friend" was going to spit in it as a sick joke. So what do I do? I'm really confused and I don't know what to do. I like this guy, Hes very shy, but talks a lot to certain people, With me, I have to initiate the conversation, but once I do he talks to me a lot. Usualy he'll come over to me when I initiate the conversation and stand very close to me, but with his arms crossed. My best friend is this guy and we were more than friends for about 2 months but never official and he was too scared to date. Now I have a bf and he had a gf and everything was fine. I could always turn to him when i needed him. He came with me to my little sister's funeral and helped me throug it. He would always take me in his arms, hug me and tell me it would all be ok but now we don't talk that much. Maybe once every 2 weeks and I miss him. We're not fighting but things aren't right and when I ask him whats wrong he freaks out & says nothing is wrong. I asked if we could hang out & he said that if we did we would end up doing things together that we would later regret. I dont have that intention at all and I said I wouldn't let him try anything but we still dont talk that much anymore. I miss him so much. Why won't he hang out with me or talk to me much anymore?
