My best friend is this guy and we were more than friends for about 2 months but never official and he was too scared to date. Now I have a bf and he had a gf and everything was fine. I could always turn to him when i needed him. He came with me to my little sister's funeral and helped me throug it. He would always take me in his arms, hug me and tell me it would all be ok but now we don't talk that much. Maybe once every 2 weeks and I miss him. We're not fighting but things aren't right and when I ask him whats wrong he freaks out & says nothing is wrong. I asked if we could hang out & he said that if we did we would end up doing things together that we would later regret. I dont have that intention at all and I said I wouldn't let him try anything but we still dont talk that much anymore. I miss him so much. Why won't he hang out with me or talk to me much anymore? What do i do to get my best friend back I miss him so much and I would do anything to get him back. I miss him hugs Help

I think you have tried to talk to him about it.. but if he is not willing to spend time with you because of him not trusting it.. then just leave him alone.. and after some time he will miss you and contact you.. but I like what the other poster said.. why does he have a girlfriend.. and why couldn't you be his girl?

I suspect his girlfriend has a lot to do with his seemingly indifference. Perhaps you need to rely more on your own boyfriend when you need to turn to someone. Ask yourself if you're really after his friendship or entertaining thoughts of having the relationship advance into more. This is always a touchy situation when you've had sex with your 'friend'. It gives mixed signals. Maybe you mistook his support at the funeral as something more? We don't always see things right when we're in emotional turmoil as I'm sure you were at that time. At least he was there when you needed him most. It may just be that his girlfriend needs him now and his alliance lies more with her.

I'd say that your friend has a huge thing for you and hes most likely putting distance between you two because he knows that you don't feel that way and he doesn't want to get hurt , but on the same note it would be hard for him to be around you espicially if you are involved with someone.try putting yourself in his shoes and give him some time,he will get over it but your friendship will never be the same.:(

Usually guys don't want to get into any type of relationship if the girl has a bf and doesn't want to lose him. It is all a matter of feelings. If you asked this guy friend about things going on in your relationship with your bf, perhaps he doesn't want to get involved anymore.

i think its because he might like you, and you dont feel the same way back for him
you should go up to him yourself and initiate the conversation
invite him over but dont let him do anything.. you know..

just tell him you want things to be casual and if he says he wants more then ask him why he has a girlfriend.
