there's this guy in my class who asked me out several times....but knowing his intentions i didn't....y?..coz i thought it was bet with his frnds to go out with me...lol..so now everytime we cross each other's way..he gives me a cold stare..lol..was i mean...or rather rude...?..shall i apologize? or just let go?...

what is so funny? And what would have made u think it was a bet? Does he seem out of your league or vice versa? I think that it sounds like your not even sure yourself u said "knowing" his intentions then u say u "thought" it was a bet. Probably wasnt and u'll never know now. U should have given him the chance and THEN decided if that was the case

First of all, you need to know that your interpretation of bet is right or wrong. You can ask him this straight. If he is truthful or shaky to ans your Q, you can analyse his state of mind with his body language. If you are guilty of your rude actions, you may say sorry for your rudeness irrespective of his intension to propose you.
If his proposal was true and you know him well, you can ans him 'Yes' or 'No'. No big deal!! Isn't it?!

Wow guys ask out girls in India now? Anyways...it's cases like this that have completely robbed me of the courage to ask out any girl. Please don't do this to guys.
