Falklands war how do I find out if someone made it home when it ended?

When the Falklands war was on I replied to a newspaper ad asking for pen pals. I wrote to a young Marine, he was 17 on the day the Canberra returned. I had to tell him in one of my last letters I was actually still at school. I never found out if he made it back his name was Patrick Naylor (Paddy) I dont have his letters to hand but I have kept them. I often wonder if he made it home, any one got any suggestions how I would find out?

You could try contacting the MOD, or if you know what regiment he was with ask them.
