Best Friend? You don't sound like a very good friend if you don't want to hang with your best friend for any reason. Quit being such a snob and figure out who your REAL friends are. Believe me, after high school, your real friends will still be close to you, and the others will just move on.

I was never cool in school I was the geek loner typer. When i went to a school where my best friend was at and she was popular there she never even thought twice about being around me even thow people gave her a hard time she did not care at all. Thats what friends are suppose to do for eachother always be there for one another no matter anybody thinks. Being cool is not everything having a good friend is so don't give up you'r friendship just to be cool if the other people don't like you anymore because of it then they are not worth being friends with anyways. Plus do you really wanna hurt you'r friend that way? Because that would hurt her feelings a lot.

Let me tell you this....after high school the only person you will probably even talk to from there down the road is your best friend....I would much rather have that true friend than make a lot of fake friends just to be in the cool crowd. Alot of times if you accept her your other friends will as well. If they dont I guess they weren't your real friends anyway. Keep the best friend.

Why should it matter to you if she's "uncool"? You're Supposed to be her friend and if that's really all you care about - being shallow- then you should tell her how you really feel instead of leading her on, pretending to still want to her to be your "friend". God Bless.

you said she is your best friend....there is nothing left to say...except that maybe you are not her 'best friend' any longer? you were once best friends and clearly you found her cool then...could it be she is for real and not artificial or partial to friends today frienemies tomorrow? I can count my friends on one hand and to be honest...with only two fingers...true friends are hard to come by....not very many people are fortunate enough to find one.
