"Make" a girlfriend...that's another show. Maybe you aren't looking in the right places. Clubs etc aren't the best places - There must be some groups you could join, or someone at work. Don't force it too much, as desperation doesn't work.

Don't press too hard and don't worry about it.
Learn to be a good conversationalist and learn how to make friends.
You will find--unless you are hideously ugly and have no personality whatsoever--that there will be girls who will find you interesting and just learn how to develop that relationship into romance.
And, don't worry if it doesn't happen for a while. Sometimes it takes a while to meet the right person.

If you talk like you spell girls might think your semi retarded and tend to shy away from you.

myspace in your local area. malls, clubs, the places u like so u can have something in common. Just go hang out somewhere consistently and I guaruntee it will work
