I am 15 and my parents call me lazy because i play alot of video games and stuff, they call me lazy and they say "when i was your age when we had a farm we used to ride everywhere and we used to always be out in the backyard playing sports" and stuff like, that my defence to them is " when you were young you didnt have computers with all good games, and we dont live on a farm and have cars and motorbikes that we can drive around." and i only hav one sibling; a younger sister, when my parents were young they had 4 or 5 siblings that they could muck around with, i also play sports on the weekends and go to training nioghts twice a week. so whos right in this arguement? Am I lazy or are they over reacting?

I just went to court for child custody and the non custodial parent gave his mothers address and told the judge this is where he lives. Our daughter says they live some where else not with grandmother. The judge gave him child custody rights with the condition that he can not take our daughter to sleep away from the grandmothers home the judge also ordered for me to call our daughter every nigh,t to make sure she is there.

My husband and I are staying with his mother to save some money. It is ok I guess we don't get along and I am pregnant due any day. Well anyways how the hell do I keep her from just walking in our room? We have no privacy. Its ridiculous I am really starting to get pissed off. She is the type of person that freaks out over everything. So if I go mention to her I would appreciate if you stop walking in our room and start knocking she would probably start yell and freakin out. We will have enough money to move out by the end of January. We have plenty of money we just want to put a big down payment on a house so we decided to stay here for a little while. How do I go about in fixing my problem. Need advise thanks....

We share the expenses on everything and the 10 weeks that she'll out would mean so much because rent and other house bills take so much from everyone's finances. She will be spending a lot of money there and I'd like to be fair on her without making a hole in my wallet. Let's say it's gonna be at least $500/month outright if I'll say she don't have to give her share. Before I did this and allowed her to not pay her share but it really costed me a lot. Then, when I went home for a 6 week vacation, it was not offered to me.
Both of us earn good money and while on this planned long vacation, she'll be paid for time off 75-80% of it. No sickness or anything stressful reasons why she is going home/vacation.
How should I deal with this though I know that she will surely pay her obligation or her share? I know she won't ask me directly but it would be nice to do something especially for her coz we are both benefiting from this set up for years now. Please advice...Thanks

Hey everyone, I go into mediation with my daughter's father (ex-bf) tomarrow and I'm nervous like a cat. He's going for joint custody, visitation and paternity. He plays a lot of games. He checked the paternity box but says he didn't do it. This happens all the time, and his mother hates me. She always wanted a paternity test but he KNOWS our daughter is his. Anyway, I have a protective order on him, police reports on domestic violence and burglery from breaking into my home. do you think it's possible that he can get joint custody of our daughter with all these reports that I have on him or it doesn't matter??? HELP!!!! I'm nervous/scared on the outcome of what will happen. i never been in a situation like this before. can someone give me a heads up on what will happen or give their input on what they think will happen? thanks.

I used to work with this guy for half a year. We did not know each other that well, but I always think he has a good personality. At least he is very good-looking. He liked me and I turned him down again and again. Then he disappeared in my life. After half a year, I dropped him a few lines (nothing important) in an email. He said he could not remember me......How embarrasing!!!!!
:D

Im 14, this ís because they were too harsh when I made some mistakes. The thing is over, today they are even proud ofme, but my resentment will
never go. What can the consequences be, now and in my adulthood? can they take a revenge, though they have no reason?

Laura's real dad is around the place, she has seen him with her little step sister, she says that her real dad hits her and is totally mean to her, this kid isn't even 15.........we are thinking that if we see him again we are going to take the kid away from him and violence from anyone, and as this is Laura's step sister its of added importance to us, so what should we do, get an intervention order or something simmilar to take the child (like custody) or just take her in the middle of the night and do it quitely, then he can wake up and find the kid not there, then he'll know how it feels to have something taken away from you......

ideas please
Mitch

It's so commercial. Anyone else feel like they have to buy gifts for someone they don't really want to? My sibling isn't very nice to me at all until it's gift giving time! He's not a very nice person sometimes and treats our parents pretty badly. What can I do to deal with this next year. Any suggestions? I don't want to make him mad...

About 3 weeks ago my sister in law was telling me how she cooks her ham. I made a joke as I always do, and she called me a stupid *****, and that she hates talking to me. She also makes jokes, anyway we are having Christmas dinner at my house this year and I do not want her here, but my husband tells me to get over it for one day. I called her and ask why she was telling everyone that she called me a ***** and she stated that it was none of my bussiness and hung up on me. I don't understand why she would even think to show her face up here, and I don't understand my husband, not standing up for me. She is 60 years old and lives at her mothers home with her husband. She is the one bringing her mom. Do I need to be nice, as far as talking to her, letting her in my house, etc??????

I have been dating the same boy for 5 years. My parents don't like him. His family is pretty broken (which also means he has a hard time understanding my relationship with my family), he doesn't have a job and lives with his grandmother. But he's really good to me, we have fun together, support each other, talk to each other, and we love each other very much. We have a great relationship. We're talking about getting married eventually. My boyfriend doesn't like my dad because he says he is judgemental and anal about a lot of things, not to mention a bit pompous. But he's also my dad, and he is a good guy. My mom doesn't think my boyfriend is good enough for me and doesn't think I'm really happy with him. My sister loves him, and says he's like the little brother she never had.

I love my boyfriend, and I love my parents, but they don't like each other. What can I do to fix this? I should also mention that my boyfriend doesn't has given up on trying to impress them-- it never worked.
