How old are you? Are you legal to drink and buy booze? A bottle for dad and a box of chocolates for mom would be good. Gift certificates, for a restaurant they both like might be a nice idea. Ask your beau!!! What do they like?

As a Mom I wouldn't expect anything from a girlfriend of six months (even if I did get her something). If you must, I wouldn't get separate gifts--if anything a poinsetta or maybe a nice candle. Thinking back, I believe my daughter in-law at that point just brought over some cookies, and we had just gotten her a small gift. Don't go overboard!!!

get a present for both. i'd recommend something they can use inside the house probably a gift basket filled with scented candles or a burner with some nice smelling oil..top it up with a big bow :)
