Since they don't have anything of value, they have many kids as possibe so that they can sell them for cash.

When I was visiting, I became close with the locals. I asked this. They're response was that they need a large family for work around the fields,livestock and errands. I observed as many as 7 kids all from different families who were no older than 10 yrs herding sheep. The older ones helped running errands such as delivering goods, family business (slaughtering livestock for food was the most common one), running the household when father was away.The girls helped with caretaking of the home, water,making clothing,cooking,etc. In most cases, the first born inherits the sole heir to the family business and home. It was a great experience.

They lack family planning. Probably never really educated in this area. They have the mentality that more children will show their prosperity, and bring them more happiness.

There culture demands one to have many children n birth control is unknown or unacceptable

They have so many kids because they need them to work and a lot of kids will die. Sad but true.
