my family is real nice and all but i would be more than happy just seeing them during thanks giving and not have to deal with them for the rest of the year. to me its more of an inconvience when i could be dealing with my life but i am oftin guilt triped in to going to family reyunions, and any other gathersing every other month, when i really dont want too.

Try to keep this short. She is a real cow. She has twin sons (me married to one of them) and they are the sweetest boys ever, aged 30. She also has a daughter aged 19. Basically she is a ponse and has borrowed £££ of of one of the boys. (not my one) & never pays it back.We went to Austria and got married and they didn't bother going and all they got him was a photo album.- no help/interest. The boys never get birthday or xmas presents. She never visits and we only live 6 mile away,never makes a cup of tea when we go round. It is not me. She treats her boys both like this. But the daughter gets everything and she lets her borrow money off of the boys as well and never pays it back - she is a real spoiled cow. The boys never say anything they are used to this treatment, but it does my head in. It was my 30th a few months ago and she never even got me a card. She is so nasty - yet she will buy pressies for people she hardly knows (it makes her look good) any ideas???

Why is my mother so cruel. I mean she does'nt get made at me sometimes, it happens at least 3times a day, sometimes I feel that she hates me, and sometimes she wished I was'nt in her life, as far as being born. But never do I thin of commiting suicide, most of the time I just want to get away from her, and move away, if only my grandmother were living she'll help me deal with it.

I do tell him to relax and swim like I showed him but he still cries and when he makes it to the side and I use my foot to keep him from climbing out he sometimes screams and thrashes until he turns bright red. We took his floaties off because I don't want him to use them as a crutch.

I tell him that if he doesn't swim he's going to drown and will not be able to go to the playground anymore.

I hate having to be so mean but I want him to learn how to swim, and this is the best way. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can keep him from crying and screaming?

My mom and i just got done fighting because she thinks i stay on the computer too long and thats y i dont have any friends... so we were fighting and she keeps screaming at me. Im tired of fighting with her. And i told her that if she wanted me to get off the computer then she should sign me up for something and she wont. I feel like shes a bad parent and I cant stand living with her. To top it off im on Lexapro and im diognosed with major depression and adhd... And evrey time i try to talk to her about something it allways turns into her screaming at me... so i cant talk to herbaout it.. HELP!!! thanks what should i do??????

We are a white family in a primarily hispanic neighborhood. I love all of my neighbors and the area is very safe. Problem is that I am concerned that their self esteem may be risked because they are the only white kids on the block.

My mom and her twin (my uncle) were adopted. I never really considered tracking down my real grandparents. also, i'm concerened if i had gotten some kind of medical problem from them. do any of you know a web site that can help me track them down, or at least there names (for free?)?

I can never get my hope up about anything because everytime I do, he shoots them down. I was supposed to go see all my friends from a different town this weekend but the night before we left he said I couldn't go. They called my cell phone and were like you can't come what the heck? You were supposed to come! And they were looking for me all over the place! He has done something like this on many occasions!!! My mom just agrees with him which pisses me off more because she won't stand up for anything. I just get so pissed off at my dad!!!

I want to dye my hair, either a solid color, or put streaks in it. My dad says it's perfectly alright. My mother says absolutely not (they are not divorced, so it's not a control/win my love kind of thing). I have tried to convince her it's not a big deal. She died her hair for years, and my sister dyed her hair when she was my age and got away with only a week on grounding. However, by the way my mother has repeatedly said no, I have a feeling I would get a lot more than a week. I hate making my parents upset, and getting in trouble with them. How can I convince her that I'm a teenager and just want to experiment with my hair; that it's nothing big? Also, any advice on how to convince parents that I should be allowed to get my lip pierced? Yes, I already know it would hurt like h*ll.
