first. do not show them the 'attitude' side of you. swearing and saying how much something pi**es you off, shows immaturity. next try sitting down with one of your parents, the most understanding one, and ask them why ? ...

Hon, he is trying to protect you. Our society has changed. If you watch the news for five minutes you will hear stores about someone being kidnapped, raped and murdered. We cannot trust anyone these days. Natalie Holloway and countless other girls go-missing everyday, all day, within a few minutes. The statistics are startling. Your dad is a good dad. He doesn't need to be on tv talking to reporters about you being missing or dead. Too many parents are going through that. It only take "a few seconds," to be thrown into the trunk of a car to never be seen. What would you do in the back of a car trunk? My dear, think about it! I'm serious! Your parents want you to be alive and well. Unless you have a black-belt in Karate AND Judo, you are not a match from any man that wants to kidnap you and sell you to "the bad guys" in Las Vegas or Costa Rica! Please, hon, listen to your parents. If you want to be with your friends, ask mom and dad, if you can invite them to your house during the weekend. They love you and want you safe. They are protecting you the best way they can. Watch the news. Listen to the parents of missing children. I'm serious, this is not something to take lightly. You're lucky you have caring parents.

There are fathers like that. Your mom doesn't say anything because she knows from experience it can get worse. She is avoiding an outright family fight. And it can pass to her as being a rotten mother. Try to finish growing up and get out of the house. Find a friend, platonic friend, to get even a tiny apartment, just to get your sanity back. My sympathy is with you. Growing up is tough even in the best of families.

Parents do things like that, it's all part of growing up, do a little more and help out around the house, show them you are responsible and want more privileges, it'll help.

wow
this same stuff happens to me too!
well.. try talking to you dad and mom.
it always helps.
plus, ahead of time arrange plans and ask your parents if you can go. Most likely they will say yes because they realize the maturness of planing ahead.
GOOD LUCK!
