Family - August 2006

After I had my son, my mother-in-law decided that she got to make any decision for him whatsoever, regardless of what my husband and I told her. She fed him his first baby food and then lied to me about it when I confronted her. She gave him Mylanta (for those of you who don't know, this is not for babies). He was only 3 months old then. When we decided to take away the pacifier, she had some stashed that she would give to him. She said one day that he was constipated and then gave him prunes. He had such bad diarrhea, I could have beat her black and blue. So we decided that she was never to be left alone with him. That solves the problem of her hurting him. But, she is so rude to me. She came to the house one night and while I was putting some groceries away, she just left without saying a word to me. Also, at my son's first birthday party, she was rude to all of my guests. They said that when they tried to speak to her, she acted offended.

I have a crush on my mother and i have already been to 10 doctors for this matter but they either don't take me seriously or they just refer me to psychologists which btw have not done me any good. What should i do? Do i have to keep on eating tuna fish or what? Thanks in advance, sincerely yours.

A man 46 is all done raising his now adult children and is looking foward to enjoy his $ and freedon when all of the suden his mistress becomes pregnant rigth during his happy divorce after walking out on his fam . and now he is babysiiting the child in the mornings till girlfriend gets home from work and he goes to work 3 to 12 at night .What a nighmare!.The story it self is exsusting.A bomer in the relationship?mmmmmm

Im 14. and my parents are super strict. they dont let me go out with friends, go to boy's parties, or talk on the phone late. its annoying! and if they do let me go somewhere, i could only go for a little bit. WHAT DO I DO??

he went out & left her during the time he has contact with our daughter. am i over-reacting? i have already asked him not to do it but he continues. there was a no-contact order issued to him because he wouldnt go to court to sort out access. i also caught him drinking and then driving our daughter home in car. how many chances do i give him?

I am not old enough to drive and I need to get to church. My mom and pop say I have to go with them, but I need to go to church cuz it helps my depression and lonliness. I am desperate to get to church. I don't know anyone who can give me a ride and mom and pop refuse to take me. Plz help I only have a few hours to decide!!! Should I walk to church or should I beg them not to go and take me instead? I don't like to hang out with my family cuz they argue and it's not keeping the sabbath day holy. I have waited all week to go 2 church cuz it helps my depression and I need to see my friends. What should I do I am desperate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????

There is these 2 girls going online talking **** about my whole family even ones that live out of state. I live a small community and I want to know what can be done about it. Legally. They are broke girls with no job. Not even a computer at home. They go to the university or library to go online and talk about my family. I feel harrased by what they are saying PLEASE SOME ONE GIVE ME ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO. It has even gone to the point of talking about our little children.

My son, who is only 13, keeps wanting me to buy weights for him because he wants to "buff up". I told him that buffing up isn't very healthy if you go over the limit. My question is, is he too young to be soliciting his muscles, because I don't want him to ruin his body and look even worse when he's older because he pushed himself too hard at such a young age.
P.S.: He's not the kind of guy who does only what he can, he likes to push himself to the limit.

My fiance is white, 37 & lives with his parents. I am 34 & east Indian. He travels alot for his job that's why he lives with them. He also helps them alot. They are in their 70's. He does work around the house, pay some bills, garden even bought a new car for them. They want him to buy the neighbors house that's up for sale. B 4 I met him he didn't always have a steady job. But now he has a great job & responsible. He had sex with his girl friend in high school. His parents knew about it. Now they got a problem with us hugging each other. We've fooled around when they are not around. We even went on a trip together 2 visit his bro's. All his bro's and sisters lived together b 4 marriage. They even helped on of them move in together. Now they didn't like the idea of us going on that trip. We are all catholics. We went to confession & will not fool around anymore. I at least want to hug or kiss him. My honey said not to worry we will work thinks out & I will not loose him.

I hate my stepfather. When I look at him, I feel like I'm going to be sick. I can't be in the same room with him without wanting to strangle him. I have so much anger built up that I've destroyed my room and given myself bruises. He's done horrible things like overdose on painkillers to send me and my mom and my sister down a guilt trip. We hate holidays because they're worse than any other day. We always fight on holidays. Everytime we say or do something, our first thought is "Is this going to get him upset?" He's pinned me against the counter and threatened to knock me out, but he never actually did. Sometimes I wish he would so I could have a reason to call the police. He talks so condescendingly to and about my mom that it's impossible he actually loves her. I don't know what to do. I'm starting to scare myself. And others sometimes seem scared of me, too. I need some help.
