I am a new stepmother and experiencing some rough spots with roles and responsibilities, etc... I wonder if Adele Cornish's product is worth it. Any other resources or tips for me? My first marriage, my husband's second. His two boys (10 and 12) are with us every other weekend and holidays.

did you see the photos where he and michael jackson we're together and they we're sucking on baby bottles? this was back in the 80's.
what about when him and michael jackson checked into a hotel room together under different names? when his mom found out, she made her son break the ties between him and mike but they still remained distant friends over the years.

i mean obese kids need to eat healthy but not all are going to die at 60, blow up to 400 pounds, be miserable, no friends, etc. like on the show honey we're killing the kids. it tries to be positive but to see into the future of how a fat kid is going to look and they try to make them look as horrible as possible to scare the parents.
i read where the rickard family said they made their kids seem lazy and did nothing, when in fact they played all kinds of sports, football, baseball.
some of these shows mean well but are put out and makes it worse sometimes.
i'm sure the older kid, at 12 years old, did not want his friends or enemies, anybody to know he was scared to sleep with lights out or his brother was still sleeping in his parents room at age 8.

this woman was beating the crap out of her son who was no more than 2 or 3 years old.I asked her what the F was her problem.He could barely breathe,all because she told him not to touch something.She told me to mind my damn biz.I left and call the police but she was gone was I wrong?

my parents are as weird as it gets. they're telling me i can't throw a party because 17 isn't an important age, so they said if i can think of 5 good reasons why 17 is a big deal, they would let me throw it. weird right? well i dont care, i want a party and the only thing i can think of is that when you're 17 you can legally get into rated r movies. what else?

thankyou for everyone for replying to my previous posts, I now have an even bigger drama on my hands, my partner reckons I am now using my condition as an excuse and as a way of gaining attention and making her feel bad, but after having to take meds every day, blood test every three days to monitor my lithium levels, this is not enough to show that I am trying to take responsibility for my actions by seeking help which sometimes requires travels over 500 miles away & now she has filed for an "Ouster Order" meaning I have to vacate our home because of "domestic Violence" when I have never threatened her or physically abused her which is going to put more stress on my condition plus I have no money, am not entitled to any benifits & basically my savings have gone on my treatment and meds plus what every normal partner would, providing for a young family with a 3 month old boy! anyone got any suggestions??? can you apply to have this order lifted on medical grounds & finacial hardship??

My 13 yo daughter is messing up. I know she's a good girl, still get good grades, but since Apri has behavior has chnaged, She took to joining bad crowds, doing foolisg things and got a bit disrespectful, though not that much. We talked to her, she apologized and promised to change. For some weeks I got back my lovely teen, but then she started messing up again. Yesterday when she got home I noticed she had drank. She confessed she had joined that crowd again and had drank beer.
I'm thinking about what I can do for my daughter. I have to protect her. I've always been a very understanding mom, have never given my kidsd a harsh punishment, but today she's grounded and mad at me. I'm really sad. I have to find a way to correct her , shes nice but is sidetracked. How can I straighten her up without being harsh and showing despite what shes doing I love her so much?

Yesterday I asked about my stepdaughter helping around the house. Here is some more details. I am the stepfather. She graduated from high school in May and has no ambition to seek employment. She will not help around the house unless her mother screams. She says she will get a job eventually, but she is in no hurry. She wants us to pay her cell phone bill and we said no and now it is shut off and she is mad at us. I think it is honestly time for her to get a LIFE REALITY check and find a new place to live. Her mother, naturally disagrees. What is YOUR advice on this one?

I have a family member who is very self-centered, dishonest, and seems to have no conscience. He will do outrageous and self-destructive things and then become the victim of the situation. If other things are happening in the family and he feels that he is not getting enough direct attention, he will do just about anything, including threatening suicide, to draw the attention to himself. There aren't any family members left who want to deal with or talk to him anymore but it is family and not as easy to just cut off. What do you do?

I hate it when parents don't let their childern be kids and learn things. It bothers me that parents don't talk to their childern about sex, drugs, and other importnat issues that kids,teens and young adults go through. But on the other hand, how young or old should a child be before he/she learns this stuff. Are we affarid if we tell them to ealry that they might do it? I know I'm saying this now (Im not a parent) but I will want to tell my childern early in there life about sex, drinking and drugs....and maybe they will make there own decsion.
Also one more point, I beleive that parents should teach their kids how to make choices and understand the concepts of right and wrong, morals and values........and hopefully all that teaching will help the kid to make the right descion when confronted with these issues.

I sometimes feel that my dad doesnt take me seriously. When i clean the house he says oh its looks alright but when his BOYS take out the trash he rewards them i dont get it . i am single mother of two.
one teen and one preteen.
in home they always have fight and i have to convince my younger one to stop...
the older one has no respect for me calling me and her sister very bad names .
they start from the morning when i try to wake them up after 2hours that alarm o'clock play(she sets the alarm and then she doesn't wake up with it so i have to wake her up to not be late for work and then she wakes up and says shut up ....).
my younger one respects me but insult her teachers and showing tantrum over there.
i have a full time job and i have to be there everyday but when i am so upset i can't work,i can't concentrate on what i am reading and i cant write.i have so much headache because of their behavior but in the other hand i don't want to make my bus disapointed because i am new and he doesn't know me very well.
any advise?
