i mean obese kids need to eat healthy but not all are going to die at 60, blow up to 400 pounds, be miserable, no friends, etc. like on the show honey we're killing the kids. it tries to be positive but to see into the future of how a fat kid is going to look and they try to make them look as horrible as possible to scare the parents.
i read where the rickard family said they made their kids seem lazy and did nothing, when in fact they played all kinds of sports, football, baseball.
some of these shows mean well but are put out and makes it worse sometimes.
i'm sure the older kid, at 12 years old, did not want his friends or enemies, anybody to know he was scared to sleep with lights out or his brother was still sleeping in his parents room at age 8.

I think it's really cruel of the parents to put these kids on the show, and since I saw the first one, I've refused to watch it. I feel really bad for those kids.

I can't really think of a way to answer this question. I've been a little overweight my whole life, and always picked on because of it, and several other things. I have major self-esteem issues now.

The parents of these kids need to think about what having their kids problems aired to millions of people all over the country will do to them in the long term and what it means at home and school in the short. I mean, come on.

I think we need to get tougher with fat people. There was a time when I felt sorry for them. But now America is just getting too fat. It's because people pig out and then sit on their fat butts and don't do anything. We have to "stop the laziness".
