Yes, it's perfectly legal, but would you really put a kid through having a name like that? Kids are cruel to kids who are "different" (personal experience), and that can haunt a kid for life.

Years ago people were naming their kids after teletubbies, that's pure child cruelty! Naming your kid Anonymous..... would be funny watching them try to say and write their own name when they are young

Legally it's fine to do; morally, not so much. You must either like attention to name your kid that or you just like putting a kid through pain. You need to get help.

If you are legally able to name your kid Apple or Moses, I suppose Anonymous would be okay....but that's one kid who's gonna be beat up in school, I can tell you that!

freedom. you can name your kid whatever you want. he might get made fun of in school, although kids nowadays make fun of anything. BTW a name has nothing to do with were the child will work when he grows up. he might just be very successful

You can name him anything you want.....anonymous is a good name if you want him to end up washing dishes or working in McDonald's for the rest of his life......poor kid.

It's your kid you can name them what you want to...I knew a guy named John Doe....and the cops thought he was being a smart___ when he told them.. Just know they will be made fun of in school.

Last time I checked, you could name your kid whatever you wanted. Just be considerate to your future child and think about how that name is going to affect them.

I see no reason why not.
It is no stupider than the names celebrities pick for their kids...Apple, Dweezil, Blanket, Peaches, Coco, Zowie, Satchel...etc.
