For a while I didn't have a job,and my cousin asked me to watch her two week old daughter.The child is now three months old,I'm still watching her,and I'm still getting paid $40 a week for forty hours a week of babysitting.I buy packages of diapers, wipes and formula because often they aren't in the diaper bag when she's dropped off.(we live 20 miles out of town, so also figure gas getting to the store and back)The mother has paid me in quarters one week, and she's beginning to be late on paying me.I have two children, so I pretty much know what I'm doing, but she complains about how I take care of her daughter(she wanted me to keep the child up all day at a month old so she would"sleep all night") Where to draw the line between family and business?Should I feel taken advantage of?What is the right way to approach these problems?She says she will be geting on gov' subsidized child care to pay me, but the way she wants to do it is illegal.To top it off I really love the baby.

A friend of our family mentioned that her 8 year old daughter is already "budding" and growing pubic hair.

Are children really developing earlier and earlier with every generation?

Is it something in the water, steroids in the meat, or all the fat and chemicals in french fries?

About 2 months ago we found out that we were pregnant with our 2nd chilld. Yes, this child was a suprise but, we are thrilled about it. When we called my husband's parents & sister. The told us that we need to make an appontment and get an abortion right away. They said that we had no right bring another child into this world. And that we were being selfish. They said that I planned to get pregnant ( I was on the pill and it was a suprise when I found out I was pregnant.) and I am trying to ruin our lives. They told him that if I didn't abort this child that he needs to divorce me. And when he said that they were crazy. They told him that he didn't have the" balls" to tell me what to do.
They also said that they didn't want to have anything to do with me or this child or with me.

They said that they would still buy presents for our first child, Jason who will be 3 in Aug. But, they won't do a thing for this baby!
What would you do?

It is a child custody case. I have a lawyer but i would like some people to tell me what they think because, i know that alot of people go thourgh this type of case everyday. so if any one know maybe you can help.

there are so many jobs where you have to pay this huge fee. are there any good jobs where i can help a child in need or mentoring without getting scamed or going around in circles.
i recently lost a job i had for 13 years. now i want to do something i love, like helping kids.

i have been in love with a girl from past 2 years but prior to that i use to watch her and fell for her i approched her proposed got accepted and started but now i came to know that she has an aafair with a boy for past two years right now i am frustated whether to continue or not the only thing that is stopping me is that insted of my repeated questioning she never revealed anything about it.

My Grandma is slave-driving my Dad into the ground. She lives on the farm that he works and demands all these labourous tasks around her house that she should be hiring young kids to do. My dad is 54 and heart attacks/strokes run in our family. I want to tell her to quit these demands from my Dad before it kills him but not sure how? Please help!

I love my daughter. More than anything else in this world. I cant stand her mother. I didnt want to leave her because I wanted to form that relationship with my newborn daughter that I wouldnt be able to form if I lived away from her. My daughter is 13 months now I have put her before anything else in my life. But now I am starting to get lonely. Her mother which I am living with treats me like SHlT. I love her but she doesnt satisfy what I need Emotionally and Physically. She doesnt even care too, she will always tell me she is only with me because of the kids (she has a 6 year old son). am I doing the right thing by sticking it out for the kids or is it time to start thinking about my needs? would that be selfish of me?

I go 2 sleep late & of course I have no choice in the matter. I need 2 be a light sleeper like I used 2, how can I sleep lighter? My Mom wakes me up early & since she went on her week vacation(she's not back yet but will be tomorrow) i've been sleeping till 11am.

I am adopted and have had off and on contact with my birth mother since i was a teenager but it was never really good contact it always ended in heart ache for me and i should imageion her aswell. i have had no contact now for 5 years but today she emailed do i responed i really dont know what to do my husband hates her so he wont be happy or supportive of me i am really stuck
