Any and all receipts that you have. From clothes to doctor visits. Also pictures of your child's room or even your house. Everyday pictures of your child. If your child is in school maybe report cards or progress reports. I know some of this may sound extreme but it can all show that your child is happy with you and well taken care of. Judges look for things like the child having a room, a clean home, and even how the child may be doing in school. And the receipts can show that you do take care and provide appropriate care for your child. Also check stubs to show how much you make. Trust me been there done that. Good luck.

Hello, Im not sure if you are also doing a child support case with this but I assume so. When I went to my sons hearing for child support, I made sure I had copies of my spouses income return, pay check stubs, proof of what he makes. Since he also had a couple of domestic violence incidance I got proof of that and took the that to court. There was no way that he would get my son. Also make sure he or she pays for medical insurance if you are getting cutody of your child. Good luck and durning the court time be cool don't get nervous. Say a little prayer also before you go in.

You need concrete proof of your assertions (affidavits, medical records, notarized statements from witnesses, etc.) sometimes even though you have a lawyer you must do your own footwork. A lot of them think that just by saying something themselves the judge will believe that to be the truth. My husband and I won a custody suit against a lawyer and we were representing ourselves against his ex-wife.

Firstly, you need any documentation to prove your credibility as a parent and our ability as a financial provider- salary slips, bank statements, etc, proof of your own home- stable residence, if you have it.
If you can disprove the grandparents elegibility as guardians- illness, age, other commitments, mobility, financial constraints, etc.
Most times, unless your credibility can be disproved the courts lean toward the mother- good luck

A Shriner , trust me , find one who will go with you. That tops all other ideas. Because the judge is a Mason and the Shriners have past the masons in the tower of power.

well if you have any documented evidence of child neglect from you ex that would really help a lot, any evidence that they are an unfit parent, things like that go really well
