I go 2 sleep late & of course I have no choice in the matter. I need 2 be a light sleeper like I used 2, how can I sleep lighter? My Mom wakes me up early & since she went on her week vacation(she's not back yet but will be tomorrow) i've been sleeping till 11am.

I have 2 alarm clocks but when they go off I sit up barly half awake,switch them off & go back 2 sleep help! Its my subconcisous.

I really understand you... the best thing I found is placing alarm clocks in different rooms at 5 minute intervals between them. Like this finally I just have to wake up and go switch it off. Then from this short walk to another room, straight under cold water shower to keep me awake.

I don't know how to suggest a way to become a light sleeper. I too am a very heavy sleeper, but the sound of a baby crying wakes me. Unless I am dead tired. Maybe try having your baby sleep in the same room as you instead of using the monitor? It may prove to be easier and more convenient.

Sound sleep is better than light sleep. Don't change. Just get a loud alarm clock and set it.

If you want to wake up earlier, I would suggest trying an alarm clock while your mom is gone

wish i could help. i am a deep sleeper 2. i suggest not-2-loud-sounding alarm clocks though.

open your window or put your radio on sleep. so your used to sound then its obvious that you can toss and turn. i am an extremely light sleeper. The radio makes me turn and toss. The window makes me get into the covers. And trust me, its FREEZING. So your used to sound and wind, it'll make u be light. My brother, is not. When i told him my grandmother died he didn't listen, he was in his dream.

You just have to make yourself get up at a certain time everyday. All you need is 8 hrs sleep.
