My husband's parents dislike me and are always butting in, he can't accept that I'm an introvert, we are just about as opposite as two people can be. I don't know if I can deal with it anymore. I love him but why must I change everything I am to fit him?

I answered a question a lady had about her husband's "sexist" behaviour(Don't anyone condemn me for the way I spell this; in Australia we spell it b-e-h-a-v-i-o-u-r) and my answer was at great variance with everyone else's. My stance is that I appreciate the differences between men and women and appreciate the fact that men and women are differently-abled. Women have the allotment of domestic life because that is where their inborn talents lie; I'm not saying every woman, but most. Also, I believe that serene domestic life is what most women long for. As much as the past is harangued for its treatment of women, it is also looked back upon with wistful nostalgia. Inversely, I believe each sex has its weaknesses; in particular I believe that men are weak when it comes to being faithful, that it is natural for men to have affairs, and that it is made out to be more of an issue than it needs to be. I have yet to be faithful and doubt I ever will; I accept it. Any thoughts?

Here is the story:
There is this one girl, Olivia, who has been in love with this guy Coleman for like ever (1-3 years). She is always "angry" at him but gets over it and LOVES him again. I'm serious she says she LOVES him. BUT Coleman has said that he will never like her. She can be really mean to me for NO reason at all but we aren't mad at each other for long. She isn't much of a friend but I still consider her a friend. Anyways, Coleman asked me out and I said yes because I do like him but I almost said no because I didn't want to hurt her. Coleman and I are currently going out. Olivia has a "boyfriend" on My Space that is on drugs but she wrote a letter to me saying: I love Coleman but I want you to go out with him and see what a beautiful person he is. To me it feels like she is saying: "YES go out with him" and "You're evil for slowly killing me" at the same time. She has written songs too! I feel really bad but I really like him. Should I continue to go out with him or end it?

Aside from all the jokes I think they may just be a treasure at our doorstep that we can't even open our eyes to see. Do you find them ugly, pretty, or of any other delightful or objectionable nature? What is it that keeps our society so polarized?
Why does it matter? Because I'm talking potential true love here, that's why it matters. It's either get with the business of love somewhere and accept it, or face a lonely life with an old age home at the tail end of it for way too many sick lonely hearts and it isn't worth it just to maintain racial purity.

I asked her "if i leave her will she be happy?" and she said "yes!". and so i have to give her my blessing.. But i just can't forget her. I really love her alot.. I feel very sad for not cherish a good girl like her. Can someone advise me how to move on, or can help me to solve my problem?

My husband likes to bring up stuff about my past. Things that happened before we even started dating. He sometimes calls me out of my name because of the fact that I had a life before he came along. But he was also in a relationship with someone when we met. He also loves to down talk me in front of others, especially his mother. He makes me look like the bad guy and likes to tell all of our business to other people, whether it's his family or mine. When I asked him about this, he says its because he needs a "jury" around so that he can get other peoples opinion about our personal problems. And he has to be right about everything or a small discussion will turn into a huge argument until he has been proven right about something. It doesn't matter what it is just as long as hes right. He thinks that women have a place and we have been getting away with too much! He can stay out as long as he pleases, but the one time I go out for 2 hours, he's pissed. What is this about?

Okay, women out there who've chosen to definitely never have kids: why are we made to feel horrible about our decisions? having the title of "woman" is not synonymous with "childbreeder"...so when people hear us say we don't ever want kids or plan to have kids...we get criticized, judged, attacked...WHY?!?!

i mean, no disrespect to mothers out there (god knows i adore my mom), but it's a life choice i've made for myself. isn't it more responsible and respectable to admit that you are not capable or willing or just plain DO NOT WANT KIDS!!!

please, girls, shed some light on why then do i feel a bit bad myself, all those haters have really put a toll on my mindset (but they haven't changed it, lol).

and also...r there men out there who can be completely happy with a woman who chooses never to marry or have kids? i mean, a long-term, committed relationship and a bunch of dogs will fill those "voids" for me....but r there men out there who respect that and also agree with it?
