after she gave birth to his child, why is he still admired and fawned upon? Isn't it wrong?

Yeah for those who want to know I got married with my ex at 16 because there came in my 9 year old. My ex was working at a gas station I was going to parenting school because of my age. We moved out of my dads and got an apt we paid 450 a month for rent and he still had to make his motorcycle paymt. I satrted working as soon as we mved out I started paying his bills he got fired. So he went to Sonic and started working there, there he met his new girlfriend Jessica they started daring he would get home drunk in the mist of 1 night we got in an argument he beat me up and ,my sisiter was there I got whaever I could and left with her and my son. Thats when all the court problems started but all of his crazy family testified againts me in 2003 . I was going thru a hand time because my mother past away in 2002 that sma eyear my father got married again in June. I was always confussed and depressed, quite. So when court came around in cost me a total of 1500.

I don't really understand this. Get ready for a long winded story.

My mother and I used to be very close back when I was a teenager, but her and my sister used to fight all the time, day and night. It wasn't until my sister left the house for good to find another place to live that things started going downhill with my mother and I. It started with a bad boyfriend I chose, then quickly escalated to us fighting everyday about the smallest things.

In short, I moved out with my present boyfriend (who is much better than my previous). The fighting died down, but we still ocassionally quarrel over financial and personal situations. She hangs up on me, and doesn't talk to me for days, and instead confides in my sister (they are more close than ever now). At times my mother brings me out shopping and buys me many things that, while I do need, I feel will be used against me as guilt in a later fight.

How do I deal with this? Is she jealous I left (its almost been a year since), or is it me?

Well, right off the bat, me and my SIL did not get along. She is always trying to compete with me for my husband's attention (weird!). She gets in between our marriage and stirs up problems. Me and husband recently estimated that in the past year, 85% of our fights can be traced back to something she did or said to cause drama. We had a falling out about a year ago (me and SIL), but since then have made up and tried to be friends.
But recently, she has started making rude and cutting remarks to me when her brother (my husband) isn't around. I have tried to ignore it, and deal with it, but it's driving me crazy! I have never understood why she HATES me so much. (she has assaulted me in the past, but I declined to press charges)
I really want to tell her off, and let her know that she MUST show me respect... but I don't want to cause a rift in the family again. My husband is on my side, and has suggested cutting evil SIL out of our lives, but I feel GUILTY.
What should I do?

True Friend or Phone Friend?
I have a friend, and we talk on the phone several times a day. I thought we were best friends...until I got invited to her daughters graduation party.

while at the party I noticed through conversation that almost everyone there was also invited to the graduation....except me. My friend didnt mention to me that anybody else was going!

On my friends frig were many many pictures, of all the people there at various events that I also didnt know anything about. Of course I was crushed. I truely thought we were best friends! I mean we talked about everything for hours!! If either of us had a problem we ran to the phone to call each other. Something new, exciting, ran to the phone. We both are rasing families and are very busy and I thought that was why we didnt see each other.

Were we friends or not? She keeps calling. I told her we should get together and do things although she doesnt seem interested inthat. What do you think is going on? I am really crushed.

My husband and I having been having problems for awhile so we sperated but still lived together. Anyway we got bak together and I was happier then I had ever been my kids were super happy to see mommy and daddy happy again(We have 3 kids). Then he went to see the girl he was seeing to give her back her stuff. Well when he came back he was different he broke it up with me again. We still lived in the same house until, about 3 weeks ago I moved out I just could'nt take it anymore the girl is pregnant and she calls and calls and calls. Then when I hear him tell her that he loves her I die a little inside it hurts like a sharp knife stabbing me in the heart. I now live on my own and the guy I was seeing does stay a few days here and there but I hate it. I was told to have him meaning my husband I had to let him go. I moved about and I'm tring to not to go anywhere near him unless I have to. When I am around him I try to keep it all about the cars or the kids. Besides that we don't talk.

The website says the marriage license is good for 60 days and can be used in other states. Does this mean if you don't have a wedding ceremony that the license is void? I don't understand.

I finally got my son's father into court for child support after 11 years, when the judge asked why we never went to court before my son's father said he just found out about my son a couple years ago.(Which was a lie) he knew from day 1, but threatened to make my life and my son't life miserable if I told his family and wife (that I didn't know about).So I finally got in touch with my old attorney and I have documentation that my son's father had refused DNA testing when my son was 2,and offered to sign over all rights at that point.Which we didn't end up doing, but I now got the guts to take him to court for help, I am filing for contempt today due to he has not paid support since the order 4 weeks ago nor did the medical that was ordered,Now that I have proof that he lied to the judge,can this be brought up? He told the judge that he would've been involved all along to have a relationship,but wants no visitation now.Please help me

Last night my son was having a hard time and really hating school because he thinks he doesn't have many friends.

He told me everything he was doing to make new friends and I told him "Everyone wants to be heard. Maybe you should just find someone to listen too and see what happens."

My wife over heard my advise and brushed it off and then told me I should NOT be giving my son advise because he is not ready to hear it.

I don't understand what I did wrong. I'm his father and I gave him advise. Why should I stop?

ive been going through some difficult times lately and I know my mom is trying to be helpful and supportive, but she is now telling me to look to god for help. i was raised catholic but as i grew up have become atheist. it seems she just wont accept this. I know she is trying to help, but talking to me about god isnt gonna do it. i am just wondering how to deal with this? anyone dealt with anything similiar with their parents?
