here is a guy while going through a divorce already lived with someone new and said that she was not the love of his life but rather more like roommates. Now he says he is marrying her and that finally he is doing the "right thing". why would he do that?

He feels insecure about being on his own, but would never admit it - gutless ! He should have been man enough to stay on his own till his divorce was through or atleast sorted. Than he wouldn't be feeling obligued to marry a flat mate for companionship or just to "do the right thing" whats he trying to make an honest women out of her, or man of him !

Because he wants to get divorced again down the road. If he really wanted to do the right thing, he would move out and then only marry someone he was truly in love with.

This man is a coward and does not want to be alone and wants someone to take care of him. He is also unstable and I bet he either drinks or has an addiction to something to get his mind away from his past and problems. My son's father has done the same thing and now he has to live with the consequences. And just be that the woman he divorced is now free of his craziness

Well, life is like that, the man i love will always leave me, the man who loves me leaves me too, and the man i get to marry is just the right person at the right time, now, who could say im wrong, sometimes , getting married does not mean love , but a fearful thing called " used to ( aka habits), got so used to a man, we just got married....

Maybe because he doesn't want to be alone but really what a moron. One of the reaosns you get married is because you love that person with all your heart and you imagine growing old together. It sounds to me like he enjoys getting divorced?
