I read in the paper a few days ago that more and more people are living together vs getting married...having kids while living together...what are your thoughts on this? What do you think the reason for this trend is? Is it that people do not believe in the piece of paper? Weddings are expensive? Although I would think you could get married by a judge cheaply and have a party at your house if it were the expense...is it the till death do us part thing? I would think you would figure on a long term commitment if you were having kids though? I am just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this, as it seems to be happening more and more...

i am having a birthday party coming up and i can invite 14 girls to the party.. but i can only invite 4 to the sleepover..all of these girls are my friends.. but how do i choose the girls i want to spend the nite?

I don't drink a lot. I drink a few drinks with my friends every other weekend. I drink for fun and not to get drunk. My bf doesn't like the idea that I drink. A couple weeks ago I told him I was drinking and he said he would break up with me. I drank and he didn't. I don't know what to do because I don't want to hurt him but i still want to have fun with my friends ... I don't know what to say to him when he asks me why I drink. Plz help

I am considering moving in with my boyfriend who is 8 years older than I am. We have only been together about 6 months, but we seem to have a very strong connection. I know my parents would be very against it. They want me to continue my education which mean going to law school, which means big money, which means not being able to afford to pay rent, which means working full time, which means not going to law school. See the circle! But I am sick of only really seeing my beau on the weekend. How do I handle this.

Me and my man have been living together for 3 years. He's 13 years older than me...he's been married before and we just found out the divorce still isn't final. They have no contact and we live in another city I'm not worried about that. He proposed to me once in the first year, (but with no ring and it was sorta corny at the time) I said no until the divorce was final and we'd been together long enough to be sure- no mistakes. He respectfully understood and agreed. But now I am not sure he'll ever ask again and how long should I keep waiting for this divorce to finally end- they've been apart 8 years! He's really comfortable in the relationship as is...but I am still young enough to be wanting more.

okay so me and my best friend have been friends for a few years.
she is a little bit of a whore so she had like boyfriends in the second grade and stuff. so he was actually her ex from the second grade ( before we knew eachther)
and i started going out with this guy and i didnt even know they had ever gone out and my BFF got really pissed but then she got over it.

so before i went on vacation my boyfriend and i broke up mutually and i went on a cruise which means i had no contact with any of my friends for over a week

i was gone for 10 DAYS!! i came back on my birthday only to find my best friend and my ex boyfriend had been going out since 2 days after i left?! WTF?!?!?! she's supposed to be my best friend and she did this.

i guess what i want to know is, was it okay for her to go out with my ex boyfriend even though he was her ex before but they had only "gone out " in the second grade?

On Monday this guy (lets call him Jim) asked, "Wanna go out with me?" I said "sure" but before then I started to like this other guy (lets call him Kyle). And i think what jim ment was just to me bf/gf. Nothing has changed in the last 2 days (yea i know thats a short time) But I don't know if I want to be jim's gf. I want to be his gf but I don't. I like him but i also like Kyle. I feel more comftorable with Kyle and its easier to talk to him. But not with Jim, but I've liked Jim for atleast a year and always wanted him to ask me but know that he did I'm not quite sure. What should I do???

My mother-in-law is absolutely nuts! She does everything that she can to set me off. Just a month ago, after my second child was bor, she was sending me threateneing e-mails, informing me that I am a bad mom for not allowing my kids to go anywhere with her, and that she ha sthe authority as grandma to take them basically wherever she pleases. The thing is that they are both daily drunks, and I have not ever seen either of them sober, for any occasion. Well, now we are moving from FL to GA, and get this; SHE IS FOLLOWING US!!! As soon as my hubby told them the news, they began searching for homes in the area in which we are to be renting. They are planning to leave a week after us. How do I escape them? She keeps me stressed, and I am absolutly sick of all the drinking and the drama!

My Fiance has had his best friend for more than six years. I am not the jelouse type and I am totaly confident with knowing how much he loves me. The problem is that SHE is in love with him. He doesn't feel the same about her but she is starting to do things that are just not apropreate, A few days ago she asked him why he wouldn't sleep with her. She told him that she has been trying to get him into bed for the last two years. When he exsplained to her that he loves me and wouldn't cheat on me number one and number two h doesn't see her that way she burst into tears and made a huge scean saying that he didn't want her because she was ugly. He got tottaly ticked off at her manupulation and wouldn't talk to her for two days. She kept calling and texting and even sent a dozen red roses. I know that she isn't sorry and she is just going to step up her game. Any ideas on what to do about this? Legal ones please!

ive been married for many years my husband, ill use a diffrent name "jackie" works in the nursing field ever scence he started this type of work every time im at his job to get him some girl comes out or walks by and says something to him and this has been at every nursing job hes ever had, but he tells me at home no "young" women works there and its all old women but ive never seen any "old women" walk out only ones my age, ive got to the point here lately when this happens i say something to him in front of the women to embaress him because he lies to me, i dont no if im wrong or not but i am hurt at the way he lies to me i dont work now but when i did i respected him by not flirting with men and i think i deserve the same respect, i feel lonely and betrayed on a daily basis, this last job he took he sweared to me he wouldent make his women friends but once again in the last week 2 has spoke to him in front of me.i wish i could reverse it and show him how it feels.am i wrong or right

ok we're good friends, make each other laugh, "touch" each other a lot, and there really isn't a private "bubble" between us! I once told him in the heat of the moment that I liked him more than a friend...and thankfuly it didn't harm our friendship. Today I was fooling around and I told him that I was "disappointed" in him. He almost freaked out and kept asking me why for the next 5 mins. I didn't pay much attention to it and started talking to my locker partner about shorts. Then he was like was it bcuz i took ur shorts?? and i reassured him that I was just kidding. In addition, I catch him starring at me sometimes and when I look back he just waves at me. Well he waves a LOT at me ...in general.
