how long do you think it takes to know that you are truly in love?

I want to ask my boyfriend to prom (okay i know that he's my boyfriend and its kinda default that we're going together, but asking itself is a big deal and i wanted to do it for HIM this time) and i want it to be fun and creative. Any suggestions?

so, I posted this a little bit ago... but I figured I would re-post with a few additional details...
he and I have been married for 2 years, but together for 6. I left him 3 weeks ago, and he has been trying to get back together with me, I am not ready, nor, do I feel as if I ever will be... My love for him is gone. He has been a really great friend for 6 years, but the "marriage chemistry" is not there anymore... and honestly it hasnt been for a while now... we are civil with eachother, but we ended in a bad manner. My question is should I still buy him a gift and what do I get for him? I am stuck.. please help!

my ex hasnt giving me a penny for my daughter in her whole life. i dont need anything off him and dont want it but i was curious cos he is telling me that he wudnt have to pay anyway cos he is living with a girl that has got 2 kids. 1 of them kids is his he says that that child cancels my daughter out. does any1 know if this is true so i can prove him wrong

to start off I goth. and I am always being told I'm realy pretty by everyone!!!!! And I'm always being told I have a great personality & I'm smart & and I'm nice/ caring!!!!!!!!!!! Then why don't guys every want to date me!!!!!!!!!! It makes me feel stupid and ugly whenever I ask someome out (I know them And they are single.) they say they'll think about it then say i'm not ready right now then they say when I'm ready we will go out, which i am extremely fine I never pressure anybody to do anything. Then not even a week later they are going out with a preppy/ poser (who has no self respect) with out even giving me a glance. all they could have said was that they didn't want to go out, it's not like I'm going to die from them telling me that. Am I doing anything wrong or does everbody thinks I'm not good enough?

I'll tell you more. She is always sitting on his lap at our house and very very very flirtatious with him. Tells my wife how hot her son is all of the time. My wife tells her don't even think about it but she still flirts and is like a teenaged girl around our son. My question is do you think that a sexy woman like this that has the hots for her friends son will cross the line and seduce him? We don't know what is going on away from our house but she assures that she is just playing. We are not so sure about that. Without hiring a PI I don't guess we will know will we?

My fiance and I originally planned on renting chairs for the ceremony, we're having approximately 125+ guests. We then found out that if it rains and we have to move the ceremony inside, we still have to pay for the chairs. Now, we don't want to be cheap, however, at $2.75 per chair.....I don't want to risk throwing that money out the window either. Someone then suggested just having the first couple rows (mainly for elderly) and have the remaining guests stand. Our ceremony will not be very long either. What do you think? How do you think that would look or should we just go with the chairs and take the risk?

I have always been a shy person. This is first man I have ever been with whom I truely understand. Though I was only 17 when we met , I have grown so much because of him. Though I've made some horrible mistakes in our relationship he still loves me and wants to be with me. What I really want is for us to be happy. Not get married and grow bored with each other.
So why can't I take charge and be the adventurous person that I know I am? What am I so afraid of? In what ways can I step my game up and show him my wild side?

a year ago he held me till i slept because i was bitter about my x cheating on me(they r mutual friends)he was so sweet.a couple months after that night we ran into eachother and he told me i was killing him.i have thought about him ever since in the past year.I finally called him and told him he was'eating me alive'he said it was mutual and he had no idea and he thinks im so beautiful,he said he wished he knew but he started seeing someone a month ago and its only fair that he tells,so i told him to tell me to let it go,he said he cant.I ran into him a couple weeks after and we were like magnets and we started kissing,i made him stop when i remembered his girlfrined,again he said he wished he knew how i had felt and that im the cutest girl alive and im everything he wants.Then he brought up that night(a year ago)and how he had felt so bad for me and he wanted to call me after but did not think i was into him.At the time i was not buying into what he was saying,but yet i do believe him

Im the same person who asked this same question a few months ago. Well, i talked to her and nothing bad happened but heres the problem: that was a month ago & i havent talked to her since. Its pretty much the same as it was before although now it even more pitiful. I finally talked and she just smiled & didnt really say too much. But now every time i see her i can't get words to come out. I managed to say hey a few times but not much else. And i havent even said hey for awhile. Why am i so stupid that i cant just talk to her again?

Well, I have this sort of friends guy and well, last year he had tried to ask me out but I completely avoided him. I just don't like him that way and don't think that I ever will because he's so not my type. Well, a girl that I talk to sometimes (since she's in all of my classes) said that he wanted to go out. I immediately shook my head and said NO. I'm sort of weird or cold hearted because I detest guys who like me but I don't return the feelings. Well, he asked to talk and I refused because I can't stand looking at him much even talking to him. So what I'm asking is, should I stop being friends with him or try to reason. I know that you're going to say reason with him but I don't want to be friends with someone who has feelings for me...it's just disgusting. So what do YOU think I should do? it's just a matter of opinion, I'll probably ignore him. I know I'm cold hearted but that's jus the way I am.

I sent a guy i that I had a crush on a love note anonymously. Then I found out he has a girlfriend. I didn't know at the time I sent him the love note. I decided that he deserved to know who sent it to him so I AIMed him to tell him. They then found my MySpace page. His brother sent me a very angry message telling me to stay away from him. His girlfriend apologized for the message and told me about their relationship. I told her I didn't know about the relationship and that I would have never sent it if I had known. She seemed pretty cool about it and apologized if any of the messages freaked me out. Now I'm afraid of bumping into him on campus again. Like he'll get really mad with me. Do you think he forgives me for all the trouble I caused or he'll ever speak to me again?
I still want to be friends with this guy. I sorta need him for medical school application advice.

I ask, because my wife had one. She had a towel on her 'lower area' but he pushed it up a bit to massage her back side and she said she told him that's fine (he asked if she felt uncomfortable), and she said she enjoyed it. She assured me she'd never do anything with him, but said it was definitely nice and said she will definitely go back.

we are planning to get married this summer at the gravel pit where we go camping. all it is, is a open pit with garvel hills and trees but to us it is our favorate place to go. there are going to be lots of campers and guests. we will also have our kids there. my step son will be almost 4 and our daughter will be 10 months. there will be a big bbq and thigs like that. i dont know how to make it sepcial for my step son though. i want to do something special to show how much i love him and his daddy. we dont want to get married any where else so that is out of the question. any ideas please help
