consantly criticises everyone, is never happy about anything and moans all the time. She's 80, independant although frail. I try my best to see her every fortnight for a few days [I live 300 miles away] and my brother does what he can but he's got a demanding job and a young family. My other brother hardly does anything cos mum can't stand his wife so can't blame him really. Its got to the point now where I just wish she would quietly go away as the constant nastiness is wearing me down when I speak to her [3 or 4 times a week]. She now wants to come and spend a week wih me but I know she finds my flat cold, cramped and anything else she can complain about. I want her to stay in a b&b 3 doors away but then it'll be 'you don't want me in your house'. I've also got to work, and she knows this, the week she'll be here but she'll moan about that too. Any suggestions on how to cope without the aid of barcadi or other stuff?? I don't want to fall out with her at her age.

My man went to a stripclub(for the first time in his life aparently) on saterday night. He told me he didn't went into the room with the other guys for a private show and that he waited in the main reception area. Do you think I can believe him. The reason why I have doubts is because his stories does not make any sense. He went to pick up a friend at 8 and then they were suppose to go to another house and have pre drinks,keep in mind these 2 houses are only 3 minutes apart, when they got at the other house the guys already left and he told me that he phoned them- well he did not make any calls that night,there's nothing on his phone!!!He was also suppose to call me before they were going to town,because I wanted to go with, and he phoned me at 10 and said that they just arrived in the centre!? so his stories is not making sense at all. I wouldn't mind if he also went into the room with them- I would be very angry but the fact that he is lying to me...why would he want to lie?

Me and my guy have been dating for almost 11 months. His ex realized she was a bi sexual during their relationship and it left him stunned. In retrospect, I realize that I picked him up on the rebound. Ocassionally he still does things to get her attention. For instance, he views her "My Space" every now and again. On two occasions he has given me 'updates' about what is on her page. Not only that but he has sent her messages....the first one was just a blank email with a period at the end. "." What that means I don't know. It seems like a cry for attention, when I asked him if that was the case, he said "Probably"...On Sat. he send her a "I hope all is well and your getting what you want out of life" email...My problem is I am TIRED of it. He says he doesn't want her back nor does he still love her. Am I wrong for wanting to cut him off and let him solve these loose ends, should I call the girl and try to hook them back up together again?

I have split up with my gf and she says she is getting annoyed with me no knowing if i am coming or going (im at uni and im thinking of dropping out). I went home on thursday and she text me a simple Q saturday night and i didnt know the answer so i didnt reply. she then reang me today (monday) asking when i was back at uni and i said i dont know and asked why i hadnt been in contact all weekend. to wich i replied i was busy and didnt know the answer to you Q. its also a mutual friends bday tomorrow and she asked if i was going out but i said no because i didnt want things to be wierd on his bday and i just want them all to have a good time but she again got funny with me and now seems to be in a mood. we are no longer seeing each other so why is she acting like this and what should i do?

I changed my mind when I got over there though

My mom has opened up to the idea of my getting married. She has started to help with the wedding plans even. We have issues on who is going to walk me down the aisle. See my parents have been divorced since I was three years old. My mother is re-married and my step-father was there for me when my real father wasn't.
My mother states that unless I ask my step-father to walk me down the aisle she will not attend the wedding. But I have made up with my real father. It turned out the times he wasn't there for me were medically related. I have even forgiven him. I want him to walk me down the aisle.
What do I do? I want my mother at my wedding and I want my father to walk me down the aisle. As it stands right now I can't have both. This is a major issue between me and my mother she refuses to hear anything other than my step-father will walk me down the aisle.
Could I go for a compromise and have both my real father and my step-father walk me down the aisle or what? suggestions welcome.

Me & bf broke up after 2 yr relationship. Reason: he felt we were no longer as close. This is probably cuz i was so uncommited (im quite shy) and always waited for him to come to me. We argued quite alot too. STUPID i know. He couldn't say he loved me anymore either but that he still cared n didnt want to hurt me. If i start talking to him more, and saying hi when i pass him at school & be the first one to make the move instead of waiting on him all the time to do so could i get him back? He said he still wanted to be m8s cuz he likes me as a person. He also said i looked nice at party the other night and i caught him looking at me a few times. How can i get him back i really miss & love him! What should i Do? -he said there is NO ONE else.
I'm also going on holiday with him n m8s soon! Help!
I'm desperate :(
A couple of days ago we were talking about the break up & he said he felt it had to end: is there anyway i can get him back? :(

Me and my girlfriend broke up a few months ago from a 4 year relationship and have been friendly since then. The breakup was mutual bc we both needed some time apart since we're still pretty young (22). Recently theres been alot of tension and we've been fighting more than ever. She doesnt think I care about her anymore but this couldnt be farther from the truth. Do I try to get back together and try to mend things (which I dont think I'm ready for but am willing to sacrifice) or do I stick it out or should we not talk as much.... The situation is kind of complex I know, I hope I explained it ok. Its just that she is really freaking out on me and I dont know how to handle it. I think shes just mad at the fact that I seem like I'm handling the situation much better than I am bc I tend to keep my emotions to myself (partly bc we're broken up and I felt thats necessary). I'm going crazy and I dont know what to do! Any advice at all would mean the world to me...
