Maybe because they have never had it happen to them, they never got to sit up all night with the empty feeling in there heart.. Then there are the ones that have no guilt over it.. I dont feel cheating is the best answer to anything.. Love the question and will check back at the other answers to see what others have to say...

i guess they feel boxed in, trapper. or they may just want to have another option or see if they still have it with the opposite sex.
or it may be that they are not ready to be in a serious relation ship or with only one person.
