yes... ur parents are right. u might have the potential to excel in some subjects but u might not have the interest...
if u r not doing well in some subjects... it can only mean that u don't have the interest in it.
so be bold and let ur parents know where ur true interests lie.
this is ur life and u can excel only if u choose a career of ur choice.
it might not be the popular science/ maths or hotel mgmnt stream... but that hardly matters...
remember v.anand.... he loved chess and made it a career... now he's the world chess grandmaster.
all the best...
once u speak this out to ur family... ur fear/tension of pursuing an uninterested career will fade away and u'll eventually start scoring.

Have you tried talking to your parents and telling them about what is going on with you? Tell them you need help and right now their setting the bar so high is stressing you out. I believe that your looking at their expectations and trying to acheive their expectations is where a lot of your stress is coming from. Look into yourself and do what you can do - your best not theirs and it will work out but communication with you and them is the key.

The only expectations you should worry about are your own. If you are trying your best then make them understand that, this is what you can do. But if there are things distracting you then clear your mind and try again

hey don't worry. just don't care about anyone else's opinion. do what you want to do. don't think of your parent's expectations. if you will receive good marks, it will benefit you, not them. just ask yourself whether you want to score high or not. if yes then do it for your future
