Wow good question for someone that gave up on it and now accpeted it because of one special girl. I believe love is just a feeling of joy just being with the person, you dont have to speak, have sex, or have to go out all the time to enjoy their company. You cry jst because she crys. You drop everything to comfort her when you know shes troubled. When you can see a future withthe person. You cater to each other and not worry who has the upper hand in the relationship because u know u both are equals in each others eyes. I would say more but it can go on for pages. O!!! and it hurts just thinkin that u could lose that person even though ur not.

Love is widely universal, splitting off into several variants.
Love can be a platonic bond between friends, anchoring the loyalty and respect between them.
Love can be romantic, allowing two (or more, if that's one's lifestyle) to delve deep into private personal intimacies of romantic, sensual passion(s).
Love can be a simple honest act of chairty; giving / offering something that can ease one's less than fortunate life.
Love can even be an act that causes heartache between people, but is such an act that carries no recourse but to have such done.
Regardless of love's infinite varations, their common one bond is love knows no discriminations of race or gender (espicially in areas of "alternative lifestyles").

it's when you talk to your partner about anything
you can trust them like a best friend
you feel safe and secure with them
they can make you feel better
you usually have a physical attraction to them as well
you feel like you've known them forever
you want to be with them all the time
you would be fine with a relationship even without physical contact with them
you would do anything for them
you get shy and nervous when you talk to them
you care for them with all your heart
you're not going out with them to better your rep
you don't use them
it's not materialistic
you get the idea
it's that feeling you get inside your body that makes you all tingly and giggly and your attraction is not purely based on outward appearances

You know Love is differant to differant people
I use to hear Love is never meaning to have to say you are sorry but thats not true at all
You could ask 15 differant people and get 15 differant answer.
One thing I have learned about what is not......love is PAIN
If the relationship alwasy brings you pain and hurt and tears IT IS NOT LOVE

to me it is when you feel something that you dont feel with anyone ele when you are with someone. The feeling of knowing that you want to be with a person as much as you can and hugging them is like christmas morning every time. :)
I know it sounds corny, but thats what i think!
