occassionally, i complain about my weight... i need to gain some... my bf however, doesn't agree. the reason i complain is because i'm only 107lbs and i see how he checks out girls with a little more curves and i want that... i mean don't get me wrong i have small curves... more so on my as.s region than upper.

is he telling me i look fine to just tell me what i want to hear or does he really not care how i look???

I'm 26 and very rarely approached by men. I have been told that I'm cute and dress well. I am intelligent and have a sense of humor. Also a big sports fan. Usually when I'm out with friends I am having a good time so its not like I am acting like a b****. The only reason I have a problem approaching them is I am shy unless I realize there is actually interest there. Then its not a problem. What is going on? It seems like whenever a guy is interested in me he is arrogant and thinks he is god's gift. I can be happy being single, it is just one of these days I would like to find someone special.

I was just wondering how many parents think that children should help with the house work. I have four ages 8, 10, 14, and 18. None of them think they should help with anything around the house. I don't agree with this. Having a family of four is alot of work, especially when im the only one doing everything, even the garbage, yard work etc. My husband drives a truck long haul, so he is rarely home. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm a gay male college student, and the last few times I've gone out to parties on campus I've ended up talking to / flirting with this guy. This most recently happened Saturday night. Last night (Sunday) he sent me an e-mail asking me if I wanted to have dinner on Thursday. I plan to say yes, but what is the appropriate amount of time to wait before replying?

In the movie, "Just Friends" there'a scene near the end where chris was talking about how he could have "scored" with jamie. He said it was "bad timing" and he couldn't just do it because he didn't know what was going to happen - he move back to new jersey or she move to LA? and he couldn't do it because jamie wasn't just a girl...they had history, they're best friends....

I'm going through the same thing the situation between me and my best friend is just like in the movie. My best friend has liked since the first time we've met and i've fallen for him but doesn't want a relationship right now b/c it's "bad timing" - he wants something in the future with me according to him that's "long lasting and real" - i don't think he wants to throw away all our history...

Is he scared of ruining our relationship? Does he want to save the relationship for when it's right? Can someone explain it to me?

My wife and I have been married for 20 years and we have three great kids 20, 18 and 16 all still at home. We raised my younger brother who is 10 years younger then me since he was 11 years old because my parents both passed away. Now that my brother is grown 33 years old my wife hates it when he and I do things together like hunt, fish work on cars etc. I feel that my brother is my best freind and she says that he's always there and dosen't want me doing anything with him we fight about this all the time. I tell her that he's not married and I'm the only family he has. She also says that I don't spend time with my boys who are 18 and 16 but that's not true all of us my son's and my brother do things together we all spend time together. Why is she so jealous? Her and I don't have any common interest she likes to stay home and read and I enjoy being outdoors hunting fishing etc. What can I do to make things right with her?

I have been married for nine months now. I love my wife and she loves me. We were very proud of our non-fighting status for the first six months or so. Everyone warned us about "the first-year fights" but we simply never had that problem. My wife often acts like a baby. She acknowledges it, but she is spiteful, stubborn, and somewhat anti-man. Plus, she's typical emotional. I love her anyway and wouldn't change her for the world. I, on the other hand, am very calculated; I like to do the wise thing, and will sacrifice my emotions for sense. My self-esteem is near-narcissistic and I take great honor in being my wife's servant. I'm pretty anti-woman and have typical man ego. Nevertheless, we got along great. We have recently begun to fight. She starts by throwing tantrums when I don't do her will. I teach. She then demands compliance. I laugh. She cries. I refuse and ignore. She hits me. I hit back. She says I hate her. I disagree. She insists, I insist. Wow! Where'd all this come from

For me it would be this. You can not worry much about what others think of you and what you are doing.
This was a very hard thing for me to overcome but I am now in my mid 30's and really feel this way. I am a much happier person.

My daughter seems scared to initiate friendships. Although she is beautiful and dresses in a stylish way, she is convinced that boys find her to be ugly. She is an honors student and earns straight A's. She tends to take things very seriously. She spends most of her free time studying and doing chores. I want her to get out a little and have some fun. Ideas?

okay......
a boy (that i have known for like 4 years) asked me to a concert, (he is over all of the time, just to hang out, so my parents said that was fine, so ...)i said yes, he came to the door, and picked me up. but when we got into his truck, it turned out his sister was going too. so we get going, and his cell rings. he pulls into a parking lot, and gets out, his dad hops in, and the boy, takes passanger side. the four of us (me, the boy, his big sister, and his dad) go to the concert. it is indoors, and we sit together. he offers to buy me a c-d, and then on the way home, buys me ice cream. when we get to my house, he walks me to the door, and says good night, and that he will see me later.

was it a date......... or not a date....................

Isn't it abnormal for someone to call you at least 4 or 5 times sometimes more and not really have anything to talk about? My step-sister does me like that and it is becoming rather annoying. It's like she is obsessed or something. She has lightned up a little since I stopped answering her calls as much. Just the other day, she called me at l:30 in the morning, saying she didn't want anything just calling on her break from work. (Is she crazy or what) I can tell her I'm spending time with my husband and she would still call constantly. What's up with that? Maybe she has found someone to occupy her obsessions with me, because I heard she now has some guy that she is now seeing? How should I handle this? Why does she feel to call me like that?
