Isn't it abnormal for someone to call you at least 4 or 5 times sometimes more and not really have anything to talk about? My step-sister does me like that and it is becoming rather annoying. It's like she is obsessed or something. She has lightned up a little since I stopped answering her calls as much. Just the other day, she called me at l:30 in the morning, saying she didn't want anything just calling on her break from work. (Is she crazy or what) I can tell her I'm spending time with my husband and she would still call constantly. What's up with that? Maybe she has found someone to occupy her obsessions with me, because I heard she now has some guy that she is now seeing? How should I handle this? Why does she feel to call me like that?

Some people r needy and some people do not realize they are interrupting your time so politely tell her that u appreciate talking 2 her but cut down on the number of calls and don't call pass a certain time if she does not respect that refuse her calls r block r number. She'll get the message. It's all about respecting other people bountaries.

Sounds like she feels left out. You need to set some boundries and make her stick to them. Give her a time that she can call or hours between xxx and xxxx. Get a machine to take the rest and tell her what you are doing. Try giving her a girls day out once a month or once a week. That should help. Tell her what her actions are doing to you relationship with her. That should get her attention. Maybe she don't even relize what she is doing and to what point she is doing it.

id talk to ur sister and see y she is calling u so much maybe there is something wrong and she wants to talk but chickens out. so maybe go and spend a day with her and just talk and shop and bond. if u figure out that evrythings ok with her then u should give her a limit of 1 call a day unless its an emergency like a fire

my crazy sister does this to me.....she's single, no kids, she's living life. but she calls at 1:30am in the morning. if i don't answer my cell twice...she calls my husband's cell twice, then she calls the house phone.....but you know what...i do the same to her....turn off your phone at night....answer her calls only on certain days...it will fade.

Find out how much is her phone plan and remind her that will continue to cost her some pretty penny if she doesn't quit!!!
