My friend just called me up like twenty minutes ago crying her eyes out because this guy she liked told her friend that he didn't like her because she is not beautiful. He said that she is not skinny enough (She is medium build) and she is a bit of a tomboy. She has a great personality and is really a smart girl. I tried giving her some advice but it didn't work. So my question to all you gentleman out there is what is your definition of beautiful?

'm a 21 year old girl that is studying to get into medical school and lately I've been feeling very insecure.

I've never had a boyfriend, that didn't bother me until about a year ago however. Last summer I started to get alot of interest from guys (2-3 yrs older), and I was flattered and took it seriously. Nevertheless, I probably took it too seriously, thinking that they're interest and everything was worth my time, but clearly not b/c then I just never heard from them again.

I just don't understand. I don't go to places to attract guys, but when I meet them, they are super insistent on talking to me/seeing me very often. It lasts for 6-7 months usually, and then they drop off. What am I doing wrong?

I'm keeping in contact with this one guy who lives about an hour from my school and we've been talking since August, talk almost everyday online, but I feel like I'm being strung along. I don't know.. do I fall in the cracks of the pretty girls/not dating material?

Who should be the beneficiary for a work life insurance policy, for a 41 year old man? His mother or his kids? He has his mother first and kids second. I think his mother should not even be a part of it. What do you think? He thinks his mother will do the right thing by the kids. She has lied in the past and loves one grand child more than the other.

My name's Brad and my best friend is Rachel and we're 19. I've known her since we were 6 and have become great friends over the past few years. I've always had a huge crush on her but i'm the shy guy who's happy having a friend instead of pushing a relationship.
About 5 months ago she came out to me and told me (after a few evil guys) that she is a lesbian, or atleast bi.
For the past 3 months now, however, she's been obsessed over some 13 year old girl who screws guys in the library (really) and is just toying with rachel's emotions. No matter what i say, rachel still wont give up on the girl. She knows it's wrong and wants to stop liking her but just cant.

What should I do? I wish i could comfort her more but I cant. Am i evil for wishing we could have something? I'm all confused... after coming out I made it known how i liked her and she said "ya never know", but i really dont know how to take that. We're never alone either- when we're out, many friends come with us.

HE: dating this person for two years. They had their fights but always made up. He continually said that he loved her and asked her to marry him four months ago.
They end up having huge argument over something small. He leaves but then calls all the next day to try and get back together (she doesn't get the calls).
He meets someone else that night.. has sex with her.. and then tells the fiance that he has "feelings" for the other person and no longer wants to be with the fiance. It's now been a week and he's in a relationship with new person (and crying over jealousy of the new one to the one he just dumped last week). He is now all consumed with the new relationship of one week.
This happened to someone I know.

Question: Madly in love with someone after a couple days? Does this sound right? (no he hadn't been with her before this).

that are so rude and give ignorant answers? This is called Yahoo answers? Right? If you want to get smart with people and say rude and mean things it's better that you don't say anything at all.

I will be moving within the next few months, so I will be attending a new school for 8th grade. How should I approach my new classmates without seeming desperate for friends?

I am talking to this guy who is undoubtably busy he is already out of college and on his way while I am still in college but I always have to call him, I mean he does always answer on the first ring everytime and we have good convo. BUT he has promised to come visit me and he has broken that promise twice already and he has re-promised to come down to our spring bowl game. I mean I promised to come down there too but I told him in the summer so I have not broken a promise. I need to know do I let him go b/c I would'nt mind if he would come visit or actually call me for a change it's just a stressful situation and I need an objective opinion. I really am into this guy but I just don't know if I can handle anymore disappointment!

we've been best friends ever since freshman year of HS. we're sophmores now, but it feel likes we've known each other since the childhood years. our lockers are right next to each other at school too...can some1 give me advice on what to do? because i'm not ready to lose a friend whom i trust with everything. on top of everything...the school we go to is small and there are about 400 students total. so drama can spread throughout the whole school like a virus in a matter of 2 passing periods. i'm afraid of what will happen if i start talking to her again because we haven't had a proper conversation in 2 1/2 months. yeah i have many other friends to hangout w/ but she is the only one i feel comfortable talking to besides my family.
