My friend just called me up like twenty minutes ago crying her eyes out because this guy she liked told her friend that he didn't like her because she is not beautiful. He said that she is not skinny enough (She is medium build) and she is a bit of a tomboy. She has a great personality and is really a smart girl. I tried giving her some advice but it didn't work. So my question to all you gentleman out there is what is your definition of beautiful?

Mine is self confidence. A truly beautiful only has to impress one person, themselves.
You are going to get many different answers to this question because there are many different people in the world, so you need to ask yourself... what is beautiful to me? Then strive to achieve that beauty and to heck with someone that doesn't appreciate it.

Inner beauty often radiates out. I know this girl that is nothing more than cute by normal standards, but I think she is the most beautiful girl I have seen because she has a heart of gold and it shows.
As for physically beautiful, I think it is all in the eyes. If a girl has great eyes, the rest just generally falls into place. I like any color really. As for hair, it depends on the girl, but I generally like somewhat curly and somewhat straight... Like... Not a perm or a fro, just wavy I guess.
As for weight, a girl can't be a tub of lard. Fat girls are normally lazy. I know this sounds really critical, but I find it to be really true. Medium builds... are great. I think that a girl has substance is great. You get a large gust of wind, you want your girl to still be standing. Plus, it isn't bad for a girl to have a medium build.

First of all, thank you to babii gurl for stereotyping men. Wow. Just makes me feel great to know thats what women think of men.
That said, I think beautiful has something to do with how the woman takes care of herself. If she just generally takes care of herself then thats great. But if she over applys makeup to look like the model on a magazine, then thats just sad.
As far as personaltiy goes, I believe beauty to be in the eye of the beholder. If she has a likeable personality (not rude, prude, stuck-up, just flat out bitchy), then that must be taken into account as well.
I think that one must decide what they consider beauty to be.

tell your friend she lost nothing everyone has there own perspective on what beauty is !!! one mans treasure is another mans junk get it so don't get boob jobs or buy new make up it only means he was 2 shallow and if it makes you happy he is probaly healing from beatoff blisters as you read this since no even dirty girl would stoop so low to do such an *** just tell your friend to find a new guy and when she does make sure she gives him a big kiss in front of mr moron ha ha ha ha take care

Most women are beautiful... I think as this guy gets a bit older he'll find most of the girls he terms as "beautiful" now probably don't measure up when it comes to the really important stuff...

Wow you Friend liked a *** hole. You know what *** holes need? A kick in the rim. He sound so shallow, he meant her personal appearance, that the type of guy that going to have marriage and relationship problems for a long time.

1. beauty in behaviour and attitude
2. beauty and self respect and appearence
those who only beautiful in looks but rude and no manners .. are the ugliest to me ....
smile always and there will be some who sees your beauty...

hot and beauty is almost a fine line
hot - good body , ranging from ok looking face to good looking face, eye candy
beauty - kind, nice, good looking face, ranging from ok body to good body, girl friend material (at least to me)

im not a guy... but honestly, guyz nowadays define "beauty" as Big Boobs & a nice Butt .. thatz all that important to them!
