how do you approach a stranger easily?

I will be moving within the next few months, so I will be attending a new school for 8th grade. How should I approach my new classmates without seeming desperate for friends?

try to join a sports team or some kind of club. you could also say hello to those who sit next to you. say " hey..i like your __-_, where did you get that" that could open to a conversation. i am sure you will have no trouble finding friends

just be your normal self chics always draw attention without doing anything , as a guy we see we follow ha ha just be carefull
