HE: dating this person for two years. They had their fights but always made up. He continually said that he loved her and asked her to marry him four months ago.
They end up having huge argument over something small. He leaves but then calls all the next day to try and get back together (she doesn't get the calls).
He meets someone else that night.. has sex with her.. and then tells the fiance that he has "feelings" for the other person and no longer wants to be with the fiance. It's now been a week and he's in a relationship with new person (and crying over jealousy of the new one to the one he just dumped last week). He is now all consumed with the new relationship of one week.
This happened to someone I know.

Question: Madly in love with someone after a couple days? Does this sound right? (no he hadn't been with her before this).

This is an obvious case of "got a taste of something new".
Whenever someone has sex with someone they met that night, they are both trash. Oh my God, just imagine the diseases. Anyway, tell the person you know that this was the best thing that ever happened to them. They would have cheated before the first six months of marriage. Your friend is lucky to find out now who they were engaged to. But be prepared, the other person will be back for them.

One can be madly in LUST after a couple of days, but not love. Seems like the guy was wanting a way out of the marriage all along and found the perfect excuse.

Who says he is now madly in love? He just found himself a nice project and realizes that he can find another woman easy enough, and he can have his new face for a new show. That's exciting, would you say?

So why would he be interested in going back to the same person he already knows so well.

she is SO much better without him... if he can flip out like that in one week's time...and get with someone else that easily... he'd do it again even if she did take him back... you dont' want someone who is going to leave like that, and also find someone else that fast... it's going to hurt for a while but time really does heal all wounds.. .it's taken me 5 years.. I haven't dated in 5 years because it's taken that long to heal from the pain of dating... LOL boys are stupid...

and NO I dont think he can be in love that soon... I think he's in lust with someone new... after a fight, and finding someone that fast...

it sound like the person that he broke up with he did a big
favor, it may seem harsh but it not. if he truly love this
person he would not just broke up after 2 years. and trust
me the sitation he end will not last because he does not
know what he want. . he did her big favor. and you know
what they say what goes round will come back around.

Well, I hate that she is hurting right now. But, she should thank her lucky stars that she found out what a JERK he could be BEFORE she ended up married and miserable.

I hope she does NOT give this guy another chance. He does NOT deserve one.

i think its lust. they will get over it. he will notice the new girls habbits and wont like them all. he will always remember his ex fiance and will mess up his new relationship becus of that. his new girl will get bored and move on. but he might get hurt badly and might want his fiance back but then by that time the ex fiance should know better not to get him. becus he left her for another fling and thats not cool. that shows that he will cheat on her if they get married.

I guess it could happen but I don't think it is likely, to love someone you need to know things about them, things you could not learn in 2 days, I would have to say it is lust, not love.

No it doesn't sound right and it sounds like he is in a rebound relationship. If it lasts it won't be pretty.
