Is it through doing things for her, is it by listening to her intently, is it by taking her out, is it by sharing personal feelings with her, is it thru compliments, or through gifts, or affection, or being intimate...etc etc.

In what way do you show your love. Are there some common choices between guys?

I'm just suspicous because she's gone back to school this year and is so busy that we never seem to have time for sex (like once a month is lucky!). We've always had a healthy sex life before this, but she spends so much time now studying or with her friends, I'm starting to wonder. Am I being paranoid?

cheated on my girl... she wasn't sexually or emotionally attractive.. so I found someone who was ;) Now her eyes are rolling she's crying so hard. Also has to do with the fact that MY mother does NOT approve of her. Mom knows bestest ;)

I don't know whether to laugh at her, cry with her, or do both. Is this wrong??

LOL... She's crying so hard.. she sounds like a sheep.. "BAAHHAAAA.." LOL

I met this guy last April and we have been talking back and forth as friends only. It is now March of the next year. I think he may like me but I am not sure. Do I ask him out and ruin a possible friendship or do I just stay friends with him. We are both not seeing anyone and he has made it known that the last girlfriend he had hurt him and it is difficult for him to convey his feelings. So, what do I do??? Please help...

He talks to me but avoids eye contact, if there is any eye contact is really brief and then he looks down, as in reading a paper... what is up with that? What do you guys think is going on... could he be unsure of his feelings or is he too far gone?

It sounds kinda deep but sometimes a person might just want the marriage to work out well i.e. allowing AND SUPPORTING the other in whatever he does, having healthy joint discussions issues on kids, housing, etc , encouraging each other to pursue his/her interests and so on, BUT he/she may not love the other person or just disagrees with the other person's way of handling things.

So, it is like, I respect you but I don't love you.

I have always been cold. I have spent years killing all feeling of emotion. The only thing I used was rage to focus me and to give me purpose. With regard to relationships i never let me feel much of anything for them. Just someone hot to have sex with. But never care about them. That i hated the world and wanted to kill what i hated in the world. But i have some how fallen in love. She is all I think of. We have been dateing for six months. But i have found that i cant hide from emotion, I can turn it all to hate and rage. She has thawed my heart and I dont know how to deal with this. Things people learned to deal with as children and teenagers i never did. I find my self feeling like a child and not being able to deal with emotion. How do you do this i have never learned how to deal with sadness with out rage?

I've gotten to hang out with this girl for sometime now and we've become pretty good friends. She's never dated anyone, she is of legal age, and she's not shy at all. I can't tell if she's just be friendly or if it's her lack of relationship xp.

She has on the other hand invited me to dinner and a movie. She has also rated me a 9 from a scale of 1-10 in hotness. In addition when i jokingly mentioned i would stretch my arms in theatres to make a move, she insisted she wanted to see it. When we went with a group of people on a separate occasion, she insisted i sit next to her and that if i continued sitting in front of her i would block her view. We walk close together a lot and play weird games. She even took my phone, decorated, and put pix of herself making weird faces and kissing the screen. She played the piano while i was napping and then jumped on me after.

Everyone thinks we're a couple because we hang out a lot and when asked if we are, she always says i'm too good for her.

He just recently divorced his wife and we got together. Everything was great we never fought he told me how much he loved me and couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with me. Everyone told us how happy we were and when someone would comment on us he would come home and tell me how great it felt. He would say that he couldn't remember his life before me and couldn't picture his life with out me. The day before he broke it off he told me how much he loved me and we slow danced together. He would say how much we fit and he couldn't believe anyone would let me go. I asked him after if it was because of another girl and he said it had nothing to do with that. That he still loves me and is in love with me but he doesn' t want to be in a relationship and we were happy and I had done nothing wrong. He made the comment that he can't define himself without me....should I think that he just needs time and he really does love me??

It seems some women want a modified version of a guy who will hit them in the head drag them back to thier cave nail them then throw them out. I am not trying to be inflamatory, it just seems like women put up with being treated poorly and give 2nd chances to these losers. So are there any real strong women out there or are you all only strong / mean when you meet someone who treats you good. This is not about me , I have a good women, I put her on a pedistal but at the same time I will not tolerate any disrespect, I really just don't like to see other people getting walked on.

Hi, men...
This question is strictly for you...

I want each and every one of you to imagine this: you're married to the woman and love of your life... she's everything you have ever wanted, and you love her from all your heart... all of it.
Now let's say, but ofcourse God forbids, that one day she had to give up the Ghost, or that she had fallen into a comma... (or any other illness around that area...)
Will you move on? And will it be easy for you to move on? Would you ever re-marry? Or will you love her 'til you too give up the Ghost, and finally reunite with her in Paradise, where you'll last her side for eternity...?

Please feel free to have your say, and may your answers be honest...
Thank you...

My wife and i are quite young and recently married..we dated for couple years prior to marriage.
WE have no kids both work and we havent had sex in about 2 months.......
I have expressed my concerns to her about this and we have both agreed to do our parts to help it.
I have made nights more romantic with candles, making her dinnner.....etc.She has put forth little if any effort.
Her response to those romantic occasions i try to arrange is....
"You just did all this so you could get sex isnt it?"
I am at the end of my ropes and i am resenting her more and more as we are slowly drifting apart.
Any suggestions or similar stories???????

If you met someone today or tomorrow, whether you're heart was open to it or not, & they were ready to love you and you saw them in that way, would you love them? Would it matter to u, if you had a job or not? Would it matter if you lived in a dump or if you were trying to better yourself by focusing on school? When you want someone, you want someone right, & if you want to be with them you're not going to fight it because you don't feel like you're where you need to be, aren't you going to be open for that love?

Why do some guys claim that they fight love because they aren't ready for it? But how can you fight it? If it's there and it's offering itself to you, why would you turn it away? It's kind of like in Spiderman 2 when Peter Parker tried to act like he wasn't in love. Why do guys claim that they fight against love?

I've been dating a guy for a couple months. We are very compatible and always have fun when we're together. However, he'll be attentive and proactive in making plans for a couple weeks but then he seems to pull away. He never goes away completely but his level of interest seems to go up and down. We are extremely compatible and have similar goals and values...it seems all the ingredients are there for a long-term relationship. The problem is that we're having trouble building momentum as he pulls away just when we're on the verge of getting past dating and getting into a relationship. He's 38 and his dating history is a string of short term relationship...none have lasted more than a year. So what's the deal? Should I just move on, have a conversation with him to find out what he's thinking, be more patient and give it more time to develop....or some other option?
