I have long hair.
I can get a tattoo!

Hold on and think about this. This is your body for one. He is just a boyfriend for two. and for three it is your hair. If you want a tattoo and to cut your hair that is your choice and your boyfriend should not have any say in what you do with your body. If you are an adult then you are old enough to make your own choice to get a tattoo or get your hair cut. I'm going to tell you the first time my boyfriend tell me not to do something is going to be the last time. Nobody tells me what to do I'm over the age of 21 and I will do as i please. I have two tattoos and my boyfriend doesn't like one of them but he has to deal with it because i got them before I was with him. Good luck and don't let a man tell you want to do.

Since we're generalizing: Most guys I know with lots of tattoos and long hair aren't real winners. Going over the top with lots of tattoos shows poor judgement (unless you're a tattoo artist or a rich & famous athlete/performer) and long hair has been out of style for 10-years now.
Because of your interest in such a guy, I'd have to question your judgement, too.
